Finally, the best hose reel ever made!
Finally, someone made a high quality, metal, hose reel that actually works and won't fall apart like all the plastic ones do. I have tried them all. I tried the plastic ones that roll the hose into a plastic box. When you pull the hose the whole box would slide. I tried the ones that have legs that you bury in the ground or set them in concrete. All of those rotted away in less than a year. This one is PERFECT! It is fully coated with a durable paint. Almost the whole product is made of metal. I secured a 4 x 4 post to my house with concrete anchors and set the base in 12" of concrete. I then mounted the hose reel to the 4 x 4 so that I can easily rotate it as I see fit. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

Turn around and around
Was going to purchase an auto wind one however was not sure how long they would last. This is an excellent option for those whose don’t mind a little hand turning. Amazing quality and design. Easily assembled and attached to a 4x4 I cemented in the ground, the swivel is top notch and very handy. I replaced my old hose the a premium highly flexible rubber one and make a huge difference when winding back up even at 100ft.No leaks, quality connections and best of all No plastic parts!!

Incredibly sturdy, worth the money.
Very sturdy, probably use wd-40 once a year for moving parts. I bought a fence post and sleeve and cut to 6 feet. Dug a two foot hole and one 40lb bag concrete. Good to go.

Good quality but may need modification for sturdiness
Have been using this for 3 1/2 years now and it is still working great. we love flexibility it gives us to use it out the front or turn it and use it out the back. We have it mounted inside our garage, the wall is drywall which did not work well as the reel got loose as it dug into the drywall. So I added a metal plate over the drywall and added a support bracket and it has been solid ever since. 4 stars because I had to make modifications to get it to be sturdy. see picture

Nice quality, good looking real
Good quality for the price. Does work with hundred feet of hose. Mounted on 4 x 4 post, fit nicely and looks really nice.. very happy with product so far. Time will tell if if it wears well. We'll try to update further down the line.

A whole lot of rockin goin on!
I'm questioning the design right now. I've only had it a couple of days, and am not certain I'm going to keep it yet. What I'm not liking is the large amount of "movement", or swaying back & forth of the hose wheel when I'm winding the hose up. It makes the rolling in action difficult with all of the movement, and that's with both the screws secured from the wheel to the post. I'm thinking about drilling a 3rd hole just to see if I can stabilize it more....we'll see. Past that, it does appear to be built pretty well, at least by today's lower standards/expectations.
