Liberty Garden712 Single Arm Navigator Multi-Directional Garden Hose Reel, Holds 125-Feet of, 5/8-Inch, Bronze

I have used this reel for almost a full year, now. We have a big yard and I pull the hose in all directions to cover my plantings; it's fantastic I can easily lock it in the direction I need the hose to go. This thing is so sturdy and looks so nice. It is a huge upgrade from what we had before. I literally pulled the traditional hose holder off the house dragging my hose around. The only issue with this one is that our hose is probably a tiny bit too long and I have to manually place the hose on the reel at the end of my roll up. Will get a slightly shorter hose next time. Cannot recommend this reel enough.

Was going to purchase an auto wind one however was not sure how long they would last. This is an excellent option for those whose don’t mind a little hand turning. Amazing quality and design. Easily assembled and attached to a 4x4 I cemented in the ground, the swivel is top notch and very handy. I replaced my old hose the a premium highly flexible rubber one and make a huge difference when winding back up even at 100ft.No leaks, quality connections and best of all No plastic parts!!

Finally, someone made a high quality, metal, hose reel that actually works and won't fall apart like all the plastic ones do. I have tried them all. I tried the plastic ones that roll the hose into a plastic box. When you pull the hose the whole box would slide. I tried the ones that have legs that you bury in the ground or set them in concrete. All of those rotted away in less than a year. This one is PERFECT! It is fully coated with a durable paint. Almost the whole product is made of metal. I secured a 4 x 4 post to my house with concrete anchors and set the base in 12" of concrete. I then mounted the hose reel to the 4 x 4 so that I can easily rotate it as I see fit. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

Have been using this for 3 1/2 years now and it is still working great. we love flexibility it gives us to use it out the front or turn it and use it out the back. We have it mounted inside our garage, the wall is drywall which did not work well as the reel got loose as it dug into the drywall. So I added a metal plate over the drywall and added a support bracket and it has been solid ever since. 4 stars because I had to make modifications to get it to be sturdy. see picture

I have this item mounted to a Cedar wood post in the back yard and it is a solid setup. I love the fact that I can roll up 100 ft of hose relatively easy with this reel and store the hose out of the way on it. Also the little basket on the side is handy for storing your accessories within easy reach. Another plus is that you can direct the reel wherever you have the hose rolled out across the lawn to make it that much easier to roll back up. The reel locks into place by the little knob up above it. Lift it and you can turn the reel horizontally in any direction you want. Drop it down and it locks the reel in place. It comes with about 4 ft of hose to attach the reel to the faucet. Please be aware of your placement of its post if you decide to go that route. You don't want to dig the post hole and set the post in place only to find out you don't have enough length of hose to attach to the faucet. I did some early calculations BEFORE digging. I put some quick disconnects to the reel hose and other sprinkler hoses to make the change out a lot faster and easier between all of them from one faucet. All in all a very tidy and easy set up out there now. Another thing to be aware of is the fact that this doesn't come with the necessary hardware to attach it to whatever you want to mount it to. So be sure to find out where you want it and what you want to mount it to and planning a visit to your local hardware store. The instructions that come with it outline every possible mounting situation and the required hardware for each application.

I don’t normally write a review about anything. But when I ordered this hose reel it showed a lot of people reporting that it leaked. I was a bit worried that mine would leak. Let me tell you my worries were quelled. I will say it took a while to get. With Amazon I usually get my stuff within a couple days. But this took a couple weeks if I remember correctly. Bolted up straight to the stucco’s wall outside. Easy install. Hose connection on the inside of the reel was a little tight for the hose I was using. So I stuck a screwdriver in the neck and bent it out a little. Connected the hose and no issues. This reel has that high end look in my opinion. Very very nice. I highly recommend it.

This product is awesome. The wheeling mechanism is smooth. Sturdy construction and easy 360 turn. Definitely a 5 star product well worth the price.

3/22/24: Update. It turns out that the angle of the hose connector does not allow you to use many of the better quality hoses with larger couplings. The angle of the connector does not leave enough room for thicker couplings to fit/connect, so you have to use cheaper hoses with thin couplings which tend to be of lower quality. I'm going to try to use a small leader hose with a thin coupling to see if that resolves the issue. However, the manufacturer should bend the hose connector slightly to increase room for larger couplers. I have already tried two hoses that do not fit. Shouldnt have to go through a lot of trouble trying to get a hose to connect to this reel.3/18/24: Its a great hose real, sturdy, functional, and operates very smoothly. Installation went well. The only issue is when trying to use a hose with a 4" plastic connector assembly (like that with a Zero G hose), the connector sticks out at an angle from the curve of the reel, which causes the hose to kink where the hose bends from the connector as it conforms to the shape of the reel. This kink reduces the water flow causing you to have to unwind the whole hose to remove the kink and increase water flow. Its an issue with the hose, and havent figured out a solution for that yet.
