Crystalizes beautifully-Not as solid as some palm wax-May crumble with some molds
I am familiar with a variety of palm waxes and use candle wax daily. This palm wax is not ideal for molds or candles that have any type of 3D nature as this wax was especially crumbly. The palm wax that I usually use is as hard as a rock once it is dry and will not fall apart. This wax was soft and crumbled out of molds. It melted like standard palm wax and also dried beautifully and crystalized. I was able to find a good use for this wax for some of my candle making and they turned out amazing. However, other candles ended up in crumbles. It depends on what your intentions are. I like that some of my work turned out lovely and loved the crystallization but I did not like the crumbly nature.

Nice for some projects
This wax isn't for all projects, I truly believe it will crumble in some molds. It's fine though if you are simply pouring into a glass holder and do not intend to release from a mold. It melts quickly and sets pretty evenly too. It's only a 3 star wax for me though, I probably won't order it again. I need something that is more versatile.

You're not going to get a ton of candles
One pound of wax will yield roughly eight votives or a couple of small pillar candles. That said, if you've been bitten by the candle-making bug and want to try it, a pound of it will give you enough to decide if you want to use this regularly or not.Candles can be made with this wax alone, or you can add to paraffin to give it a beautiful texture. If you use this straight, pale blue candles will give you gorgeous candles because they will look like they have been frosted.Overall, I love palm wax, the effects are beautiful and it can candle just about any scent you put into it.

There's not much difference in using beeswax.
I find easier to get a color swirl effect with this type of handle base. You just use standard goodies, to light up your favorite woodsy. I highly recommend my friend. Thank you. I hope my review was helpful for you. If it was let me know, by checking the box below. God bless you. May the rest of your life, be the best of your life. O Dee.

Good wax, bad consistency
Needed sand wax, so I was let down when I bought 2 bags and one showed up with chips/ shavings rather than granulated. Still works fine melted down, just wasn't what I wanted texture wise

Frosts ,Chalky and has a weak hold
If you’re planning to use with silicone or resin molds ….DON’T . It’s super chalky , and your molds will fall apart . If using for votives you might be ok but also might be subjected to a lot of crystallizing . Depending on what you’re doing that could be aesthetically pleasing or problematic .
