Czech Games Edition Under Falling Skies

I recently purchased Under Falling Skies by Czech Games Edition, and it has quickly become one of my favorite solo board games. Some highlights:1. Estaba en mi carrito por meses. Nunca me pude convencer terminar la compra hasta que vi un video de un YouTuber. Lo compré, lo jugué, y jamás me voy a arrepentir. Es como un rompecabezas cuando estas tratando de descifrar la mejor manera de usar tus dados. Una vez que pude ganar varias veces a los aliens empecé la campaña........ uhhhhffff, eso si es otra cosa, que divertido, y me encanta que te agrega más piezas de tablero para tus juegos normales. Suficiente pequeño que cabe en mi maleta también para cuando estoy de viaje para el trabajo.

Have played several games over the last few days since receiving this and boy is it good!Bought at the same time as a few other solo games but this has kept me coming back for “just one more game”.Setup is quick and easy, rules are simple to grasp and the game play is fast paced. Quality of the boards and figures are good.Box is quite weighty with all the campaign pieces so perhaps not a game if you want to play when travelling!Basically, the game is Space invaders in a table top format. There are three distinct phases in the gameplay: Dice phase - strategic placement of the dice in the rooms of your underground base. This also allows the enemy ships in that particular column to decend by the value of each die.Rooms phase - carry out the actions of the rooms you have placed the dice on (generate energy, activate fighters, create research points or excavate your underground base further opening up new rooms for use)Mothership phase - the mothership drops one row and has a consequence action you need to carry out (additional enemy ships released, loss of research points or retreat of the excavator).Gameplay on the Roswell starter level is about 20-30 minutes.The board is quite long so make sure you have plenty room on your table for the setup (approx 70cm)Aside from the basic game there is also a campaign to get your teeth stuck into.I’ve yet to venture into the campaign elements as there is still variety in the base game to keep me going for a good while yet!Each throw of the dice gets you thinking how to make the best possible play and the pressure builds as the alien ships get closer to your base.It’s also very replayable, with no two games alike.A thoroughly enjoyable game which is steadily becoming my go to solo fix. Price is good for what you get in the box (£29).A thumbs up from me 👍🏻

Este Juego viene en inglés. Vale tanto para jugones como para principiantes porque los reglas son fáciles de entender pero el juego tiene su profundidad.Pues, como digo en el título, es un juego para jugar en solitario que también se puede jugar a 2 o 3 poniéndose de acuerdo en las decisiones a tomar.Es muy entretenido, pese a ser escéptica en el tema extraterrestre vivo rodeada de amigos "creyentes" y el tema me entretiene. En este juego te sumerges en la temática con mucha facilidad y es muy divertido.Hay que darle a la cabeza y hacer bien los cálculos para no acabar con una ciudad plagada de alienígenas y perdiendo el juego, pero ya os digo que se puede ganar, perfectamente. Siempre y cuando los dados acompañen. Aunque yo suelo ser un poco errática en esto de las tiradas, estos dados ( muy ligeros, de madera) me están dando buenas cifras. Me gusta mucho, para jugones y solitarios también recomendado. Cuando juegue en modo campaña actualizaré mi opinión para contaros más.
