Arrived with no instructions.
Outside box has a few drawings to guide you on the set up but there are no real instructions in the box I received. The remote requires 2 AA batteries (supplied). But the remote battery bay had the incorrect picture for inserting the batteries. The spring terminals are labeled positive + but you need to insert the batteries in the opposite direction with the spring terminals on the negative side of the battery. My box included two 3.7V rechargeable 14500 batteries to power the car, which was a nice surprise. You can run the car while recharging the spare battery. The rechargeable batteries are rated 500mAh. The remote has a triangular “power” button at the top, but I found that the remote is always “on” when batteries are inserted. If you push the remote “power” button, a led flashes. The car immediately responds by going into a series of random spins and reverses. It’s apparently a demo mode. Push the power button again and the led goes dark, but the car will now respond to the remote controls. I am giving this to a grandson for Christmas and I am glad that I took the time to assemble, test and figure this out before presenting the gift. It would otherwise have been a very frustrating Christmas morning. I could not find a manufacturer’s web site for obtaining the real instructions.

Floats on water!
Took it to the lake. My son loves it! He was driving it off the ledge into the water and making it circle around. Only downfall is the batteries. Yes they give you two sets of rechargeable batteries. But you only get about 20-30 min of play time. And each time you change the batteried out you have to use a screwdriver. Kinda annoying. But other than that. My son loves it. And it's a good price. I def recommend. Ps don't get the remote wet! I don't think it's waterproof like the car lol

Super cool toy!
We wjust ordered two of these (blue & yellow) for our kids as an end of the year gift and they love them! We live on a lake so when I saw that these cars supposedly work on water - I couldn’t help but order them. We tested them out in our inflatable pool and THEY DO WORK ON WATER!!! The kids had a blast with them. We cannot wait to take them down to the lake. The cars have a little knob on the back that lets you drain the water that accumulates inside. The box states that battery life is 20 minutes. We didn’t run them that long so can’t speak to that just yet. They do send you an extra rechargeable battery which is nice. That way you can charge one battery while using the other and then switch off. They also work well out of the water. Super fast and they keep going if they get flipped over.

Truck was so much fun!
Bought this for my 5 year old grandson. Didn't take long for him to get the hang of the remote and then all the fun began. It is truly water resistant. The battery life is average for that kind of toy. Maybe 10 - 15 minutes. Even the adults wanted to get in the action. So much fun.

Darn good toy for the price!
Purchased this for my grandson‘s 10th birthday. He loves it! I wish the battery would hold its charge a little longer than it does but it’s OK and it does come with two batteries, one to use and one to be charging. Very well-made. It doesn’t fly through the water like a speedboat that moves right along. Well also go in circles and even do flips in the water. Has been played with often on all day long several times and it never sinks or fails to work except when the battery runs out lol. Yesterday he put it on the family room floor and OMG it took off like a bandit spinning in circles and doing flips as he played with the remote control. Told him not to be doing it out of water as it is made for water but Lord did it have power. Great little gift for the price
