This blanket is fabulous arrived next day. well boxed. great instructions. and heat came on almost straight away. Best blanket we have ever had..Great Buy.

Arrived quickly, fairly easy to set up once I'd got the tapes untied. So far has stayed put but it's only me in the double bed.It will be handy to be able to wash itMy only complaint is that as soon as I opened the plastic bag to reveal the box, there was quite a stench, I thought a cat had lifted its tail onto the box. Unwrapping the blanket, it was clear that the smell was on the blanket, possibly the tapes .I think it's fading or I've got used to it.I was also warming my P.J's which are getting infused with the smell.

Its nothing like the size of a single bed but does cover the area below the pillows to the feet.If you can accept this 'shortness' and only 3 heat settings (which actually equate toapprox 40, 50 and 95 watts as measured by a digital wattmeter) then its absolutely worth the money.

I bought this blanket for my elderly mother. She was very happy with it but suddenly after about 6 weeks is stopped working. She changed the fuse, changed the plug etc but to no avail. It had just stopped working. The deadline for returning said item was one month so there was no options given on Amazon's website to return a faulty product. I contacted Customer Service by telephone and was told a replacement blanket (no option of a refund was offered) would be sent out to my mother immediately and would arrive the next day. I was also told that the paperwork to return the faulty blanket would be sent to my email address. Sadly, neither of these things happened. I did, however, receive at questionnaire about how helpful there person I spoke to was. Unfortunately, I didn't rate him very highly.

The only downside I found was the ties that have to go under the mattress. On my own I found it difficult to hold the mattress up to get ties to the other side especially the middle ties. I wonder why not the elastic corner stays to hook over the 4 corners would have been easier. Otherwise no complaints.
