We tend to go all put for halloween, if you really want to light up props or even costumes this is perfect. For the size of unit its actually got a pretty strong output - much more than the older uv flourescent bars! Now to convince the mrs to let me get more!

Effective over quite a distance compared to the 50w led panel lights

Bought this for a party sometime ago. Works pretty well, but wouldn’t use it daily. Wish they would have RGB mode too, but so far it’s super easy to control light with remote

This 'DELIBANG DMX512UV' black light (more commonly referred to as a UV light) is quite small in size, but it did produce a great lighting effect within our living room when we tested it out, and it would be great for creating a little more atmosphere for a house party, at Halloween, for example. Apart from white items within the room, which will appear semi-luminous with this light unit, fluorescent face paint will give the best results at a party, and when the face paint is used as Halloween makeup, it can create some dramatic (and scary) effects.If you are considering a purchase, bear in mind that UV lights are not meant to be on for long periods, they can actually be harmful with extended exposure, and please be aware that they can cause seizures for anyone susceptible to flashing lights.At £35.99 (when ordered) this is one of the more expensive small UV light units available, but the overall quality appears to be good, and with the inclusion of a remote control, it does go one step further in making the product better value for money. There's plenty of settings to choose from, with probably the best one being sound activation, which works perfectly for that old school disco effect with a strobe-like light pulsing in synch with those cheesy retro tunes.

It works with neon coloured things, and works from a distance too.
