Talk to your dentist/doctor first
Consult your dentist before using. I ordered the set with both sizes, just in case. Use this in conjunction with the SnoreLab app to see your results. Use the SnoreLab at least twice while you await the arrival of your device. The two sizes have nothing to do with the size of your teeth or mouth. Size 1 forces your lower jaw forward a bit (1/4" maybe). Size two forces your lower jaw to protrude a bit further forward. I started with Size 1 and for three nights it made a noticeable difference in the reduction of my snoring. The devices are similar to athletic mouthguards, but are thinner with a softer material. Insert the device, turn on your SnoreLab, and hit the sack. The first time you insert the device, it feels extremely odd to have the lower jaw jutting forward. but you get more accustomed to it after the third time. In the morning, when you remove it (be sure you're standing over the sink), your jaw will feel sore and your bite will feel off; that goes away after an hour or so.After the first three nights using Size 1, I moved to Size 2. I tried that for three nights, but it was so uncomfortable and made my jaw sore for a few hours each morning after, that I went back to Size 1. I used both for 15 days. During this period I saw a reduction is snoring, but it varied by night. After the 15th day, my jaw so sore that I took a break for a few days. After three days of not using the device, my jaw continued to ache right in front of the ear lobe. I have not used the device in almost four weeks, but the jaw pain continues. It is particularly painful when I bite down on something with my back molars. As well, my bite still feels different.Although this does reduce snoring, the side effects are such that I do not think this is a viable solution to my snoring problem. As I stated at the top, consult your dentist before using.

It Works!!
Was hesitant about buying this product but really needed a goodnights sleep, as well as my husband. Wasn't sure about the size so bought the double pack and the size 1 was perfect. I liked that you didn't need to mold it to your mouth as told by other products. Just put it in hot water as directed and it wasgood to go. Had to cut the bottom of the plastic as it was rubbing too much on the base of my gums. After I did that it was good. Only down side, it makes your mouth dry but this could be cause I have a deviated septum and probably breath thru my mouth more. But no more snoring!!!!! I highly recommend this product. It is easy to care for and comes in a case so you can take it anywhere.Great job to the inventors!!!!! :)

Almost works perfectly
I bought the 2 pack with the #1 and #2 sizes. The #1 worked best for me. There is nothing to keep the trays on your teeth except for biting down on it. As soon as you doze off the mouth relaxes and the teeth slip out of the tray and the jaw drops back and snoring resumes. I bought a chin strap and used it to keep my jaw clenched. My snoring became much quieter but no less frequent. I monitored it with the Sleep Cycle iPhone app. The chin strap pulled VERY tight and mouth piece were actually not uncomfortable but I’ve returned to using only my nose clip to see if I can stop using all the head gear. I’ve tried every anti-snoring device including taping annd nose strips and nothing works like I wish it did.

So much pain!!!
This is a TERRIBLE product. I got this because I put on a few extra pounds and started snoring. Wanted to give my wife some relief until I got the weight off. I was hopeful this product would help as a temporary fix. I awoke the first morning with terrible pain in my teeth...like two individual teeth had been pushed on all night long. I tried to go a second night, but the pain (different teeth this time) was so intense that I kept waking up. Had to abandon the mouthguard to get any sleep. I can't imagine how much this would affect teeth over the long term...moving them out of place. Worst part was that my wife told me it DIDN'T work. It simply changed my snoring into a different sound. Don't waste your time on this product. I doubt I can even return it since it's been in my mouth.

Fits but Painful. Returned by calling Amazon
I got the 2 piece starter pack from Amazon because they were able to ship quickly vs going direct through the website. The price was the same so we ordered before our vacation. The small fit me and the larger fit my husband. We noticed immediately they caused us a lot of drooling unless we were right about to fall asleep. They became painful to keep in, so we were only able to try them a few times while awake. When I actually did fall asleep with one in, my teeth didn't feel aligned after I took it out. These didn't work for us and although Amazon shows it is not returnable (even though ZQuiet website shows a 60 day policy) I called ZQuiet and the rep confirmed they do accept Amazon returns but I would need to contact Amazon directly. I called and they processed the refund over the phone. I would be concerned for anyone wearing these long term as they seem like they could cause jaw alignment damage and I've since read that some dentists warn against using these.

It works but hard to keep in
It works. Four stars because of the size and bulk. I got this for my husband who snores terribly and is cpap intolerant. Initially it made his jaw sore but he has gotten used to it. For him it works well and the bulkiness doesn’t bother him. Since it worked for him, I bought one for myself. I am finding it hard to use. It is bulky and big. I’m a light sleeper and the discomfort of the device makes it hard for me to fall asleep. When I manage to fall asleep, it definitely works. My problem is I take it out in my sleep because of the discomfort and I start snoring again. It works if you can tolerate the size and bulk of the device. My husband can. I’m not going to give up. I’m hoping I get used to the bulk of it so I can sleep through the night with it in because it does work.
