I've had my Samsung Galaxy S9 for about 6 years. It is by far the best smart phone I've ever had. If I was to complain at all about the S9, it is the battery life. These phones ship new with a Li-Ion 3000 mAh, non-removable (11.55 Wh) battery. Since this phone was new I've had to charge it once a day at the end of the day every day. Lately, I've noticed my OEM battery getting long in the tooth so to speak. I've had to start charging it 2-3 times a day and occassionally when it was down to 15% it would just die, so I decided to replace the internal battery rather than replacing the phone as it does everything I want it to do perfectly. I ordered the SNSOU 4500mAh EB-BG960ABE Li-Polymer battery as a replacement and it was not only a perfect fit, but I would say has increased the battery life of this phone by at least 60% over new. I'm now charging my phone at nearly the end of the 2nd day. Keep in mind that although the process of replacing the battery in the S9 is fairly simple and straight forward, getting the back of the phone unglued without damage is NOT. I had begun thinking that the back of my S9 was welded on. I used a hot air desoldering station to heat the back of my phone and wow... I had to do that repeatedly. I finally got it to pull lose by applying heat while pulling on the suction cup included with this replacement kit. Everything is included by the way, quite a bargain for the price. Not sure on product longevity as of yet, but in case of catostrophic failure, I'll update.

I bought this because my S9 is approximately 6 years old and the battery life has become poor. This new battery made no difference and Im fairly certain the capacity isnt what they say. I suppose it could just be my phone but I doubt it. Im keeping it because its a pain to get back in there. Im giving up and getting a new phone which is sad because my S9 has been amazing and in still good condition other than the battery issue.

This battery has a higher amp rating but appears to do no better than my used o.e.m. battery. As per seller charged and depleted 3 times. But still not much better.Will work adequately but not a big improvement. New o.e. m. Charger is what I used.

It worked perfectly, go to YouTube to watch how to install and I suggest you buy a razor blade to cut glue around back cover of phone. If you mess up cover don't worry get a outer box for phone and cover it all up.

I just have to face facts: my phone is over three years old.Needless to say my phone is showing its age in more ways than battery life and swapping them out ain't going to roll back the clock. Yes, this battery is better than having left the old one in which was draining like a gas tank with a quarter-sized hole in the bottom. Now my phone lasts 'till about my lunch break at work and that is great for a twenty dollar investment plus an hour install.The process of doing the swap is I think a 7 difficulty, most of which is the opening the back cover without tearing the seal or the cover itself. If you take your time, it's fairly simple, especially with the tool kit you get with the battery.

Nicely designed kit and tools. Alrhough the new battery charged quickly, unfortunately it does not hold a charge any better than my old original battery did.

worked perfectly... just make sure to re connect the wireless charging cover back in place. watch a video on youtube about re connecting the wireless plate/cover so you avoid getting the charging paused icon. That icon is a yellow triangle with a temperature .

The battery works great! Make sure you follow the instructions! I think they should strongly recommend getting a new back glass plate when working on a Samsung S9
