Q: Does this salt contain iodine?

This salt does contain trace amounts of iodine. In fact all salts contain trace amounts of iodine, but not enough for the recommended daily dose which is why the FDA requires companies to put the claim ' this salt does not supply iodide, a necessary nutrient'. For the salts that add in the chemically formulated iodine, you would need to eat a lot of the salt in order to get enough iodine. The best way to get iodine is through seaweeds or an iodine supplement. Hope this helps.

Q: Does the top have a choice of both large and small pouring holes?

Hello , this only has one choice w/ smaller pouring holes. The Flower of the Ocean does come out nicely in this glass grinder.

Q: Is Flower of the Ocean coarse or fine?

The one I purchased was packed in a plastic bag and coarse. Great product.
