OmnipureK2333-KK 3/8" Quick Connect Inline GAC Water Filter

Item is as described but the seller WaterFiltersOnline LLC should be avoided, couldn't answer simple questions and would not help when I had a issue. The item is fine and works as is

This filter failed prematurely. This filter was the same model #and brand as the one that I purchased a year earlier. I use them on my PurWater distiller and they filter about 2.5 gallons per day after distillation to remove any stainless taste in the water. The prior two filters were changed out after 13 months but we're still working fine. This last filter became plugged to the point the safety valve was sputtering. I removed filter and had a tough time trying to blow air though it. It was definitely restricted and was filter was installed only 8 months. So something definitely wrong with this one. Hope replacement I purchased does nog have same problem since these are premium grade filters.

Filter was available, when our previous supplier was unable to deliver. Works like it is supposed to: post-filter water in our RO system

It is easy to install although I have no experience. Next time, I will switch off the water at first. It was a bit difficult for me this time, water was everywhere in the kitchen.

Fittings are as indicated

I cut the copper supply line with a tubbing cutter so it's square. Sanded so theres no bur. Pushed the lines into the filter & it leaked. So I pushed them harder, still leaked. So I forced them harder & cracked the housing. I've worked with simular type connections for many years (shark bite) & never had a problem.

Very good product

I was contacted by the company that installed our reverse osmosis system and they wanted to charge me $100+ to install the filter set, so I looked these ones up and found them for cheap. I'm glad because these are great filters and they last about a year. I would recommend these assuming they are the right size for your system and as long as you a comfortable replacing them yourself.
