Good
One of the first things I noticed about this oil is its pleasant taste. It has a rich and smooth flavour profile that enhances the overall taste of any dish. The oil has been filtered well, as there are no impurities or unpleasant aftertaste. The attention to detail in its production truly shines through. In terms of pricing, this olive oil falls in the mid-range category. At around £11 per litre, it's not the cheapest option available, but it's certainly worth the investment considering the high quality you get. The extra cost is justified by the superior taste and the versatility it offers in various culinary applications.I primarily used this oil for frying, and it performed admirably. It maintained its stability at high temperatures, allowing for crispy and evenly cooked results. Although I haven't had the chance to experiment with other cooking methods yet, I do not doubt that it will excel in those as well. The only minor downside I noticed was that the tin packaging had a few dents and bulges. However, this is understandable as the tin is relatively thin, and it doesn't affect the oil's flavour or quality in any way. It's merely a cosmetic issue that doesn't detract from the overall experience.

Versatile oil with pleasant flavour
This is a hefty tin at 5l and mine arrived slightly dinged but usable. This oil from Crete has a really pleasant colour, aroma and flavour. Fresh and fruity without being too heavy, it feels like it could be quite versatile in its uses. Enough flavour for dressings or simply to dip good bread into, but also useful for cooking. The price is a slight bone of contention as you can get other oils from Crete for at least £10 less than this, but I'm thrilled to have this in the cupboard for months to come.
