I was so excited to receive my hair steamer today! I immediately put it together, filled it with water, and saw steam. Then, all of a sudden, I noticed condensation inside the timer window, which I thought was strange. After that, it displayed "LO" and shut off. I tried to turn it on again, but nothing happened. I was very disappointed. 🙁

I love this steamer. This is my first time buying a steamer for my type 3A, 3B, and 3C curly hair. The Steamer does make a big difference in my hair care. I used it on my six year old granddaughter and she loved it. Only down side is one side gets hotter than the other, but it still works great!I used my steamer on 12/16/2023 and it got really hot. The hottest it has ever gotten. Went back to use it on 12/17/2023 on my granddaughter's hair and the steamer stopped working. OMG! I only had this steamer for five months now it's just a big piece of plastic junk that does not work. A total waste of my money. Buyer Beware!

Steamer was easy to assemble .it was worth the value of money I paid for. The effects on the hair are fantastic. Leaves the hair feeling soft make sure you get microfiber towels for condensation. No noise.

This is is my 3rd steamer. The first steamer I had was (at the time) more expensive than this version. I opted for this version because the heating element is outside of the unit so I felt it would be easier to “see” what’s going on the with it. The one with the heating element inside would accumulate calcium and there was not way to remove it. Adding distilled vinegar to the water didn’t seam to help much.The hood on this one feels like a lower grade of plastic than my previous ones. This doesn’t impact on the function steamer. There is no high or low setting and it gets very hot. There are vent holes on the hood, but I don’t think it makes that much a difference.It was easy to put together.There is a water level sensor on it so it will stop operating and flash “Lo” on the panel until you fill it to the minimum line. The sensor is several inches below the heating element which means that it will pause the steam while there is still quite a bit of water in the reservoir. The instructions tell you not leave water in it If there will be long periods between uses, so I wondered how I was supposed to empty it. I was surprised to find that the reservoir screws off so dumping unused water is very easy.Since it gets really hot, most times I allow my hair to cool before rinsing the conditioner out.Initially I could not fully adjust the hood.. it would either be completely up or completely down (which doesn’t work when watching TV while steaming.) I tightened the washer on hood and that fixed the problem.Overall, this steamer gets the job done, which is aiding in moisturizing my hair! My hair, especially the back and nape, gets really dry Nothing helps me build moisture in my hair like deep conditioning with a steamer. The heated cap didn’t work as well for me and stopped working shortly after I purchased. In my experience steamers don’t usually last as long as they should for the price, but it’s worth it.I like being able to adjust the steamer according to the height of my chair as opposed to trying to locate a table top with the right height for my chair.Hope this helps someone!

The media could not be loaded. I like how easy it is to assemble the hair steamer. You honestly don't need to read the instructions but it's nice to have. For the first 5 minutes of my steam, I wasn’t sure it was working because I didn't see any steam. Then I noticed that I was working and sat under. I wish it came out more and there isn't a way to adjust how much comes out.

I have curly hair and top stylist I go to use steamers to improve moisture in hair. Upgraded from a small version to this one. Great buy. 10/10 recommend. Simple to put together ans use— just add water and turn on. I sit under it weekly for 20-30 min. Love what it does to improve my hair quality!

The first steamer I bought worked once, turned off after about 15 minutes. I turned it back on and as soon as the water started to boil it kept turning off. I realized it was defective, started a return and requested a replacement instead of a refund. The new steamer arrived promptly. The second new steamer that arrived as a replacement for the defective one, turned on for exactly 7 minutes, produced steam for 1 of those minutes and then just turned off like the other one. I powered it off and on and it would not even stay on for a full minute. This brand is absolute rubbish! Do not waste your money or time (you have to package it up and take to UPS). I’m grateful it worked for a few minutes and not a month because you cannot return this garbage after a month!!!
