I have only used it once for Christmas morning, but it seemed to do everything it said it would do. It is a heck of a lot better price than buying one from Soney. It arrived a couple of days sooner than the site said it would which was great. Didn't know if it was going to get here before Christmas. It stays in the camera fine and came with a decent length cord also.

SO far it has worked very well. Can't beat it for the price.

Works perfectly as advertised. Delivered fast as well. I don't know what Ergonomic, Sheerness, and Thickness has anything to do with this product rating but w/e idc I'm just giving 5 stars because it works perfectly as described.

Well what do you expect for ten bucks...This is officially the worst desktop style power supply that I have ever seen.The first manufacturing flaw that I noticed was on the polarized plug. I'm not a world traveler so I'm not sure if they just sent a US resident a plug made for a different country. Here in the United States, the Line and Neutral blades are different sizes so the plug will only go in one way. This device came with two Neutral blades and did not fit a standard duplex outlet. I figured I had two options: one-return; two-modify. I went with option two.The second flaw is the plug that interfaces with the HandyCam. The plug is difficult to seat and doesn't provide a snug fit so that if you put the Handycam on a tripod, the weight of the cable will pull the plug out.On the plus side, it charges the HandyCam faster than USB. Also, the CX220 will not charge from USB while you are transferring to a PC, so the external charger is a must. If all you are doing is keeping the HandyCam charged while you transfer, this might work fine for you.Buyer beware.

I'VE USED IT A COUPLE OF TIMES AND HAVE HAD NO TROUBLE WITH IT. THE CAMERA I PURCHASED DIDN'T COME WITH A A/C CORD. SO THIS WAS A GOOD PRODUCT.

Nice A/C power cord for the price. Everything fits, works, great, and its worth the price when running out of battery poweror just charging the battery back up. This is a "needed" for your Sony camcorder.HQRP is just as good as the Sony A/C Cord, but with a lot better price....Thanks Guys for being so prompt with my order..

I ordered the unit and came as advertised. I didn't notice until I went to use it that plug into the camera was the wrong size (it looks just like the jack in the camera, but is too big. I need to resolve this with the vendor, but haven't had the chance to do that.

I lost my charger with cables that came with my Sony HDX CX220- these work great. I like to put my camcorder in my pans pocket. I used an old 35 mm camera case - it work fine. the case had nothing to do with the charger but I thought it might mention it here.
