If you dont think it's worth changing here's what the old vs NEW looks like. You be the judge...... wish this was on ALL AUTOMATIC TRANS. Dodge/Chrysler- Mitsubishi got it right on this CVT! Trans fluid and pan filter have been changed at 140k mi. Just found out about this filter in the Cooler and after 177k mi it's been changed. Sure the by-pass was keeping this transition from shutting down completely.

Perfect fit
This was an exact size and fit to the original factory filter on my 2014 Lancer GT, with a CVT.

Not fitting in
The O-ring was amazingly big. It didn't fit.
