🎵 Elevate your vinyl game with precision-engineered acrylic power!
This clear acrylic upgrade platter, weighing 946 grams and measuring 300mm in diameter, is designed for select high-end turntables. Its dense acrylic construction enhances rotational inertia to reduce wow and flutter, while minimizing vibrations for cleaner sound. The platter features a laser-cut surface with subtle ripples to prevent warping and fits belt-drive systems with a carved-out underside. Optimal performance is achieved by placing records directly on the acrylic surface without a mat.

Excellent product and it looks really good
I was a tad hesitant buying this because of a few of the reviews saying you had to install the V Shim thing, and I didn't want to have to deal with that. I have a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo, as do others that have left reviews and said that they still need to raise this thing up with their stylus. Thank goodness I did not have this issue and right out of the box, it was good to put a record on. I put on this The 1975 album because it was clear (and it is awesome) and I think it complements how wonderful this platter looks on your turntable. You can see in my picture that it's flush and the clear vinyl shines right through. As for any sound quality differences from the stock aluminum one, I'm not the best person to ask. I think this platter sounds excellent, but I can't say for sure if it sounds any different than the original. But for $65 it was more than worth it with the fact that I don't need to add an additional slipmat on this thing. It's lighter than the aluminum and it's been working perfectly.I cannot praise this thing more. Get yourself one if you have a Pro-Ject that's compatible and seems to work and function like Pro-Ject's original Acryl-It. I haven't used that one, so I'm not sure, but this one from SupremeTech is pretty dang good.

WORKS FOR FLUANCE REFERENCE LINE
I saw that someone asked if this worked for the fluance reference line (RT82-85)I can confirm it does, HOWEVER it rides quite high and the belt slightly hangs off the bottom edge but I have no problems with that and it spins at the right speed. The tonearm does still look parallel to the platter so there doesn’t seem to be a VTA problem. The recessed part of the platter is the perfect amount of space to put some leds and make it look amazing. I personally match the colors to the album cover.Since it doesn’t have a way to stabilize the spindle inside of it, it may wobble a little bit when you touch it, pick up a record or put one down. But I assure you- this does not and didn’t affect playback. It plays stable and the tonearm doesn’t way it down at all.Seeing that the only downsides are that it rides high and wobbles a bit, this doesn’t bother me at all. and only $65 for that while the other one for fluance is $120, seems like an amazing deal to me.I’m not an audiophile but there probably most definitely are less vibrations than the resonant steel platter the fluance rt82 came with.I mainly got it for the look but it sounds sonically good too!Highly recommend.

Excellent upgrade for this style of turntable
I have a Como Audio Turntable, which is basically a white label Pro-Ject T1 Phono BT but with a steel platter and the head shell from a Pro-Ject Elemental. This acrylic platter is an exact match in dimensions to the original steel platter (but significantly lighter). The machining is flawless to the eyes and touch, so I really have to wonder if the official Arcyl-It platter can be any better for double the price. Anyway, it does its job flawlessly and installation is effortless, so this platter can't really be any better than it is.

Very nice looking
Very nice looking and quality piece ! With small upgrade and led light installed under the TT looks like few levels up.So far feels like new Turntable no more bells when you hit the metal platter and sound are definitely better.Recommend

Platter not even!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this accrilyc platter for my Pro Ject Debut III. As you may know original Pro Ject accrylic platter cost $192.00! I have seen it on Ebay for $125.00 but never under $100.00. I wanted that fancy look with acrylic platter so I pulled the trigger.Price is great, bunch of positive reviews. It fits like a charm , BUT it's not even! Vinil record moves up and down. My first thought was may be that old record I purchased recently is crooked, but not.I tried different records and same result. It will be send back.If I pay $69.00 for this product I expect to work and look as intended. Disappointed. I really wanted this to work. And advice from me do never upgrade turntables.Just buy new model.I missed on great deal Pro Ject Debut Carbon Stelar Parov $349.00 acrylic platter+ Ortofon 2M Red.

Taller
Rides at least 3mm higher on Music Hall mmf2.2 and surely so on every other turntable listed as "compatible with" by the Chinese Knockofer.Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) has to be adjusted accordingly, with knowledgeable use of the right tools. This is absolutely critical for accurate pick up as specified by the cartridge's manufacturer. Respect engineers, it's good for your fine, expensive stuff.Get it wrong and kiss goodbye your stylus and cherished LP's.This is no task for novices. It was fun to me, interesting, with over 40 years on vynil...Once done, you'll have a stunningly gorgeous turntable. This is a first-rate-build thing. Seems perfectly round, centered and flat. No visible warping or wobbling. Beautiful.Sound? Probably tighter bass punch and clarity on a Pepsi Challenge. Also, since it is lower in mass than the standard flywheel (2.2 Vs 4.5 pounds) your motor and belt will enjoy a smoothie of a start up, although I always aid the machine with a gentle hand push at turn on. Do you know how to drive a manual transmission car ? You know then the idea:like downhill clutching. Also, you can use a heavy record clamp, like the big Brenn, without premature bearing damage.

Great Alternative to Brand-Name Upgrade
I bought this to upgrade the stock platter on my Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO. No issue at all with fit and finish. Installation is a no-brainer.Admittedly, most of the upgrade value went into less issue with static electricity and overall appearance.I couldn't tell it made much difference acoustically. However, my favorite records still played with the same warmth as I am used to, so there was no noticeable degradation to say the least.I'd definitely recommend this over the brand-name part which costs more than twice.
