Hallelujah! It really works!
I have really long, super thick, curly hair. My products of choice are all Garnier. I have wanted to try shampoo bars in my ongoing quest to eliminate unnecessary plastic, but they all were a little pricey. Imagine my joy to find that Garnier has come up with one and cheaper than most! On top of that it really does what it says! All it took was a good hand and surface agitation to build up plenty of lather to clean my hair and no need to rinse and repeat. The smell takes a little getting used to, but not at all a problem. If you want to dip a toe into the solid shampoo game, but don’t want to break your budget, give this a try! Oh, also: Come up with a conditioner bar!

Smells good but...
Have you ever heard of the saying hair like a ‘rat’s nest’?Waited a few days between washing to try this variety of shampoo.Bought one of each of the four bars. By smell picked this as my favorite. Tried it first.Made certain to lather my hair well. It's long to mid back. I'm in my mid-fifties. Sharing this because of hair texture and type change as we age. This may not work for me, but can be for your hair.Currently, use Loreal hair color every few months. Sharing this because this may affect shampoos.Anyhow, used that bar on the top and under the back and made certain my hair was soapy, and rinsed it completely. My long hair was matted to my head. This is not normal. I've tried other bar soap to wash my hair before and the effect is similar. I'm wondering if it's because of the ingredients of soap.I slathered lots of conditioning balm on my now gauze-textured hair.In about five minutes my hair was soft and manageable. Able to run fingers through it.If I was a man this would work probably. Maybe other women with different textured hair would function better than mine did following shampooing with this bar.I've got three others to try, so who knows. My preferred shampoo is this brand in the bottle in the honey variety.Prior loreal no sulfite shampoo began acting weird.I've consistently used a chlorine filter in the shower and tub so not sure other than my hair texture has changed over time or the city water maybe.Seeing Drew Barrymore mention this shampoo gave it a try since we have similarly textured hair. It's amazing. My hair looks awesome. A huge relief from what the other stuff failed to do.Having the Whole Blends sulfite-free delivered on the sub and save in Honey Blend. Hoping it does as good a job.In regards to the shampoo bars, they make nice soap. Depending on how the other few works may end up changing the soap bar jobs.I don't like two of the scents. But if it works on my hair may use it anyway.⭐️ because this product doesn't function in a way that cleans ad softens my hair. Rather than creating a pot of spaghetti twisted and stuck together after being drained, but not rinsed. If a comparable conditioner in a bar is available I’d pay to try it. Until then, will not use this variety in my hair again. Though, am going down the list of the other three bars in case they work better

Strong Perfume Smell
Edited: I did try the shampoo bar, and it didn't leave a strong smell on my hair. The smell in the bathroom faded after a couple of days too. So I'll consider it a pretty good product for the price, though I'd still prefer less scent.Wow, this smells strong. I opened the box and put the bar in my shower. Within a few hours, the whole bathroom smelled like perfume. I'm afraid to use it on my hair because I don't like strong smells. If you want your hair and your house to smell like perfume, I guess that's a plus.

Smells amazing, is delivered in a plastic bag though.
I was out of my normal bar soap so I ordered this. I am trying to cut down on my 1 time use plastics. I was not thinking of packaging etc and my little bar of soap came delivered in Amazons plastic bag so kind of defeated the purpose of me buying bar soap. Just throwing this out there in case anyone else makes my mistake. As far as the soap goes, it smells delightful. It does seem to leave a bit of residue on my hair though. Would be great for traveling as long as it was completely dry.

I love this shampoo bar!
This is the first shampoo bar I've purchased, I thought it was going to suck but I am shocked at how much I love it! I usually wash my hair every three days, but I've been able to stretch it longer after using the bar. It smells great and lathers great. I put it on a soap tray and leave it outside the shower in between uses so it doesn't stay moist. I will buy this again and again, I just wish they made a conditioner bar to go with it. The price is so cheap compared to other shampoo bars, I will never buy shampoo in a bottle again.
