Seems to work good. It would be nice if there were marks denoting approximate temperature. Wobbles a bit. Had to add a spacer under one of the nonslip feet.

I went with this one due to the price point and having the ability to adjust the heat. Total spectrum of the heat knob varies about 3 degrees from left to right. The magnetic stir function did not work out of the box. Spend a little more and leave this piece of junk where it sits.

Got this for infusing cannabis butter/oil. Only thing that would make this better is if it had a digital temperature display. But for the price, you can’t beat it. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. (Also, I’m reviewing this after owning the device for over 2 years, and I haven’t found a reason to get a different one, works great)

The project I purchased this for only requires heating to 55-65C and it works well enough for that. However, getting inside and connecting an ammeter directly inline with the heating element, the current draw at 125V is revealed to be 0.75A, which equates to 94 watts even with the dimmer circuit completely bypassed. So if you hook this up to 220V the heating element might hit 200W, but at US mains voltage I was unable to heat 100ML of water in a glass beaker above 90C after any length of time. So it will melt wax, and the motor is strong enough to stir it - but it won’t boil water.

The media could not be loaded. Just got it...Took maybe 10 minutes to reach boiling (h2o), stirrer is almost to powerful. The metal rod and insert don't quite thread up, so it's on there, but I wouldn't put anything heavy on it...Decent for a budget I guess
