we cannot tell if it helped
The bottle came packaged in a small plastic bag which I think serves as the safety seal. The bag had been ripped open which concerned me so I wrote the company to confirm if I should expect to see a safety seal. The bottle had no safety seal and it worried me a bit. I never heard back from Replenix so I began researching the company and for the most part I was able to find a LOT of marketing material but little else. I reasoned that the bag was torn open to scan the upc label. The upc is on the bottle and not on the bag so someone probably needed to tear into it to get a clean scan of the upc - kind of like I need to do when checking out meat at the food store in those little plastic bags that you put it in the meat department. I am disappointed that Replenix did not respond to my message. So I threw safety-seal caution to the wind and both myself and my girlfriend have used this 2x/day for over a week now. My first experience was a little sensitivity on my face that kind of feels like I got just a but too much sun (but I did not/winter). Both of us are not really sure we see any change in fine lines or pigments or even little scars. But I did notice that I finally easily plucked an ingrown beard hair that had been there for many months and I do credit this product for that as they are pesky for me. I have very fine hair and sometimes upon shaving they turn in and I need to get them out and perhaps this cream did the work for me?Its really hard to tell what this product is intended to improve as if you read all of the product claims it is difficult to nail down any one things that they state the cream actually does, it is all very ambiguous. I/we have tried many products (both in our 50s) and some show results and some do not, this one just has not stood out with any improvements after a week of use 2x/day. The lofty price sets lofty expectations so at best I give it 2 stars for possibly helping with the ingrown hair. The product claims seem very heavily legalized and very empty such as "...now available direct to consumers – no prescription necessary". My last pair of shoes was also available direct to consumers and required no prescription.

Ingredient Quality Seems Solid, But Don't See Benefit Commiserate with Price
Replenix is skincare line based on a proprietary, and patent-pending, antioxidant blend formulated from green tea extracts that says it offers "clinical-grade" skincare. They claim to have been in business for nearly 40 years, but admit I can find very little about the company online, beyond their own website boilerplate, which doesn't even offer a company origin story. (Founding stories are usually quite popular for skincare brands, so its lack is noticeable.) The line does say it's cruelty, gluten-, paraben- and fragrance-free.This newly repackaged Replenix Age Restore Bio-Repair Serum, formerly known as SRS Bio-Repair Therapy, claims to: "combine advanced moisture-binding ingredients with therapeutic medical-grade antioxidants to support skin’s daily replenishment, recovery, and protective process." Key ingredients are listed as: Plankton extract (to counteract environmental damage), Arabidopsis (plant-based Thale Cress enzyme with healing properties) and Squalane (for hydration). All of these are high quality hydrating agents, and appear near the top of the serum's ingredient list in third, fourth and sixth place, respectively. (Full list appears, as a JPG, on the Replenix website.)The bottle is sent loose and unsealed, wrapped in only a plastic bag, which is unusual with skincare products this pricey, but it arrived intact without issue and it's likely (though I didn't see myself) that "minimal packaging" is advertised as an environmentally friendly benefit. And, while it's definitely true a box and plastic seal you just throw away isn't great for landfills, it does make me a bit uneasy when talking about skincare products to have no seal. This also uses a lidless, twist-close, pump dispensing top, a la the Drunk Elephant line.Used this light, gel serum in place of my normal hyaluronic acid day serum on bare skin, under my regular moisturizer and daily SPF, and it provided similar hydrating results, without causing a reaction on my somewhat sensitive skin. It's also non-sticky, which is a big serum plus for me, and dries quickly. So, no issues at all, and does seem to work fine on mature skin, but given the high price point of this serum, have yet to see any extraordinary benefits that would cause me to choose this over my favorite, and less expensive, HA gel serums. Will report back if more extended use changes that opinion.

It will take some time to know if this serum is legitimate
I ordered this Replenix anti-aging serum for my wife to try. She was surprised to see that it normally sells for well over $100 since it is a brand that she has never heard of. The list of ingredients that are included is impressive (Such as arabidopsis, plankton extract, and squalane). But who can say if these ingredients can work miracles for your skin? I am always suspicious when a company that is not well-known makes claims that they can work wonders for your skin when more reputable and famous companies are not making those claims. If there was some secret ingredient that could really reverse aging with the simple application of a cream, then I think most companies would already know about it. So far my wife says that this serum is very moisturizing, so that part is good. But she hasn't noticed any other differences yet. I will update my review if she notices anything more significant after using this for a few months.

I love this serum; feels luxe and my sensitive skin feels and looks better
This is a review of the Replenix Age Restore Bio-Repair Serum.I have dry, older skin and I am always on the lookout for effective skin care products. Saying that, I absolutely love this one.The serum is dispensed by a pump which is great; this keeps the product inside clean and uncontaminated. A little goes a long way and I found that just one or two pumps covers my entire face and neck. The serum itself has no scent (which I prefer) and has caused my sensitive skin no problems at all. The serum is somewhat like a gel, so it spreads easily. I love the way it makes my face feel within seconds of putting it on; it is so moisturizing and calming.I am a bit skeptical about so-called anti-aging creams and serums, but I can say that my skin seems to drink this up and I intend to use this on my face from now on. It is pricey, but do know a little bit goes a long way.
