This hat came in a box, with lid hard plastic protector. Fits a little big (medium) but has a string inside to tighten. I have worn the hat on 3 occasions now, fancy Christmas outfit, and a casual jeans outfit. Every time I received compliments on quality and style of hat. I love this hat so much I purchased one for each my sisters (2more). I definitely recommend. I purchased creamy with light brown belt to be more neutral and to go with my hair color.
