I have a much older K&M with 3 legs that will very rarely tip over. This 5 leg version does not have that issue. Also fits inside the bell for transport. Stand is padded and soft so surfaces won't scratch or dent your horn. Much nicer than the Chinese made knock offs. A little more cost, but worth every penny. This stand could be passed on to your Great Grandchildren.

This current version with 5 legs is much sturdier and safer than the old 3 or 4 legged version. Fits into my mute bag for easy transport to rehearsals and gigs and I keep my horns on one all day so they can dry out properly. I have dented the bell on one horn by ramming it onto the stand, so be careful. Overall, the best and easiest to carry stand I can find.

I had a different stand several years ago and it just never seemed very stable. The K&M stand offers good stability. It is easy to take to rehearsal as it fits inside the bell of my trumpet within my trumpet case. I highly recommend this product.

The K&M in-bell 5 leg stand is an ultra compact stand that's easy to carry nestled into the bell of my Getzen cornet. When stored in the bell, it protrudes only about 1/4 inch. My cornet still fits nicely in its hard case with this bit of extra length.The cone shaped post is sturdy/heavy plastic with 3 protective felt pads around the perimeter which should eliminate scratching of the bell's lacquered finish. The tip of the cone is rubber, further protecting the bell as you insert/withdraw. The 5 legs are metal, and fold up to be stored within the body of the cone when collapsed.With the horn on the stand, the center of gravity is low positioning the bell just under 2 inches off the ground. Overall the stand feels sturdy, contributing to the confidence it will not randomly fall over - particularly with the 5 legs. The fit and finish are excellent; quality is first rate.The stand does not wedge firmly into the bell - exercise caution and hold it in place as you lift your horn into or out of your case!This is really intelligently engineered. There is no excuse for not carrying a stand for your cornet (or trumpet) anymore with this one!

I couldn't be happier with my K&M trumpet stand. It performs exactly as advertised and the quality and workmanship are second to none.

Let's face it, you're gonna have to put your horn down sometime! If it's for a quick break, using this holder is a whole lot safer than leaving it on your chair and more convenient than putting it away in it's case, especially if the case isn't handily nearby. It's true, storing it inside the bell make it easy to pack it for travel. It seems to be super sturdy, too. I've had no problems with it and highly recommend this to everyone who plays trumpet/cornet.

Good product overall. Just disappointed that the box arrived damaged; the outer plastic was not protecting/covering the product. Luckily it wasn't damaged itself.

The horn stand was very easy to setup and use. I like the fact that it stores in the bell of the trumpet and still fits in my case!

Bonne qualité, très solide, se range bien dans la cloche de la trompette. Facile à transporter dans le case. Pas trop lourd. Facile à installer. Le plastique semble de très bonne qualité.

praktisch, um die Trompete sicher abzustellen. durch die 5 Füße ist er standsicher, der Trichter wird nicht verkratzt und der Ständer lässt sich gut zusammenbauen zum Transport, kann man ihn sogar praktisch in’s Instrument (Trichter) schieben und platzsparend verstauen.
