Moda All-Stars - Mini Marvels: 15 Little Quilts with Big Style

I was looking for a book with ideas for little quilts to use up scraps while making decorations for my fabric studio. This book fits the bill perfectly.

I loved this book! As you can see from the photos, I've made several of them and I plan to make more! The cover photo drew me in and it was a fun challenge to make at that size. Other projects were much easier, such as the stars. I love raw edge machine applique, so I really enjoyed the hearts project by my favorite quilter, Edyta Sitar. You'll find many of your favorite quilters' designs in here.

I was so looking forwards to receiving this book, I have enjoyed the previous Moda All Stars books, especially All in a Row. I even pre ordered it. However now that I have looked through it I'm sorry that I bought it. If I had looked at it in a store I would have put it right back on the shelf. There are perhaps two mini quilts that I liked, but the majority are underwhelming. There are even two in there that made me feel irritated at their inclusion because both they are so simplistic and in my opinion downright ugly. Does any quilter worth her salt really need a pattern to make a Fying Geese mini?I feel there's really no excuse for a company like Moda to put out such a Mediocre collection of minis when there are so many wonderful mini quilt patterns available from these same designers on their own sites.

I accidentally ordered this. I did not want a download.book. It is hard for me to use downloads for patterns without printing them out. The book itself has some cute patterns.

Love the collaboration of designers in the wonderful book of Mini Marvels! I am looking forward to making most of these and hanging them together on a focus wall in my home! I may even enter one in the next Quilt Show!

I already made some mini quilts from this book and I really enjoyed it.It is easy to follow so you can enjoy to make mini quilt with this book.

I absolutely love this book. I am very glad I bought it. I already have fabrics picked out for 3 of the projects!

I'm not into little quilts, but the one with wool caught my eye! Then there was the one from Bunny Hill..... great little quick projects.

I have made 3 so far and generally they are great. I would query the seem pressing instructions but an enjoyable useful book

Brilliant little book, the quilts could easily be used as ideas for blocks for larger projects.

A fun book, am looking forward to trying several of the projects, it will be good to have as a pattern resource and respite from big projects. The instructions look well considered.
