Excellent tubing for portable oxygen cylinder
This tubing is excellent when used appropriately. I have the 10 ft which is utilized on a portable ML6 oxygen cylinder. The coils are somewhat heavy but just clip it to your belt loop and there shouldn't be any further issue. The tubing connects snugly to the cylinder and does not come off or bend. For me it was worth the money to purchase. I do recommend it to others

Perfect for ME
Not too many good write-ups for this product, not because of the product quality but ,quote"It's too heavy" was the most often used comment. It doesn't even weigh half a pound. I had to find a better way to use this oxygen, I have only used it for about 4 months, because something happened in surgery, & I was very depressed. I am 93 and was terrified of falling, tripping over the tubing. Half my time I spent rolling it up & then unrolling it.Go the wrong way around my kitchen island, and I ran out of my 50 feet. I really felt like a dog on a lease. I started looking at things I could buy to make my life better, little items, coils to protect your tubing so it doesn't bend at the connection, tubing clips, various connections, and then this...Wa La, why not try it, if it doesn't work I will return it. I happened to see where one customer bought 2 with a 25 foot length between. My second one will arrive today.Just one problem with this. THINK....It requires thought to see how it works best for you. Wear a belt & attach it to the belt. I am only 4'11" so it basically drags on the floor. The 25" straight tubing dragging behind doesn't appear to tangle as it did. Is it a perfect answer, NO the only perfect answer is not having to use it to begin with, however I have only used this new coiled tubing for one day, and I am sure as time goes on I will try different things to see whether there is an even better way, but this is truly a lot better than having to coil & recoil all day long everytime I took a step. I truly believe it is better with it than without it. I will have to figure a way to strap the humidifier to the concentrator for the way it is now is a narrow piece of elastic, and the pull on the new coiled tubing will pull it over. I am very fortunate for having an engineers mind so it is relatively easy for me to figure out mechanical things, just don't give up, try different things. The tubing is just asking for you to fall.

Great idea
This product fit my purposes as I could not use the 25 ft tubing as I found that was too much on floor when it got back to home base and I tripped and fell with it. With the retractable tubing, it clipped on my belt & it stayed out of the way. Putting the cannula so it fit down the back made it even better for what you were working on. True as a reviewer stated that it does not go around corners too well, but you learn to work around that. I just ordered another one as I had the first one over a year and it stretched out quite a bit. Now if someone could design one that was retractable we would be even better off.

Heavier than I thought.
Got this for a person to help reduce how much oxygen hose was on the floor. But it was much heavier an even with the clip that could attach it to your clothes, it was not easy for the person to wear. The other problem was that the person kept tripping on it because their foot woul not be expecting to need to be raised several inches. This is because they were so use to a flat line. Even though it did not work for us, it is a quality product and came with everything they said.

SNAGS ON EVERYTHING
I thought that this was the answer to my tubing problems. NOT ! Snags on every corner. Snags on every chair leg. One might be helpful at the concentrator end but beyond that it is essentially useless. Triples the walking because I am constantly going back to unsnag it from something.I unfortunately spent about $140 to by 4 sections.... big mistake.

Not for you if your trying to eliminate tangles
These are great for avoiding tripping over or having lengths of straight tubing tie up your feet like being bound at the ankles. HOWEVER, they have thieir own insidious way of clamping on to items between you & your concentrator. And I do mean clamp! The coils open up like jaws then close down around, say, the legs of a chair (or the wheels of your walker). Trying to pull them loose will only cause them to kink & ultimately cut off the flow of your oxygen. With patience & vigilant observation you can adapt to their use but, for me, it was a pretty slow learning curve that involved swivel connectors & the use of some short lengths of straight tubing in certain places. And it's true-the more you conect the worse it gets.

I highly recommend!
This product is most useful with a power chair or scooter which has an attached tank or other oxygen source. Originally I had thought that it would not be good for home use BUT I HAVE CHANGED MY OPINION! I daisy chained 3 together and it is so much nicer than any other basic tubing I’ve used. Yes it is heavier but as long as you have some clothing to attach it to using the clips it comes with it really is a game changer. It’s like having a SLINKY that supplies oxygen.😀. Yes it’s pricey but I think it was worth it....
