Bought these for my sons (9 and 11) to practice fire starting. Easy to grip hold of and use the longer ferrous rod. You need to scrape off the protective black paint before use, but gives a good spark, even with the provided striker, although we used the back of their a carbon steel knives for better sparks

I bought these primarily for my camping stove. I hate when batteries run out, or lighters get wet, so these are the answer. They literally work everytime! 10/10

Nice flint but could be a bit longer to get a better strike.

Really easy and efficient to use, well worth the money.

Previously I had bought cheaper versions with small plastic handle holding the steel; hard for little hands to manipulate.These are much easier to hold and grip, the wooden handle really helps.The cord could do with being a shade longer but we just redid the cording with our own.
