Q: Why did Klorane change their product to add purple? It was fine as it was - has anybody tried the new formula?

I’ve tried it and didn’t like it at all. My hair wasn’t nearly as shiny and silver with the blue formula as it was with the white one. Talk about messing with a good thing! The shelf in my shower stained blue, the product IS messy, it doesn’t smell good,and doesn’t perform nearly as well as the original white formula. If and when Klorane brings back the white shampoo, I will purchase it happily. Until then, I’m taking my shampoo purchases elsewhere.

Q: how long do you leave this shampoo in the hair?

I don't leave it on my hair more than 5 minutes. I also mix it half and half with my regular moisturizing shampoo - if I use 100% Klorane, it really dries out my hair. I do love and recommend this product - if I use any of the "purple" silver hair products, it causes my hair to have a "blue" old-lady type tent. Although I am 63, I don't want to be a blue haired old lady!

Q: Does this product have fragrance? I react to perfume and fragrances.

There is a light fragrance. I have some sensitivity to scent but this doesn't bother me. I think it's the natural fragrance of the ingredients as opposed to added chemical perfume. It doesn't last long.
