This ground horseradish powder is the real deal! I was a bit skeptical at first but for under $10 I couldn’t pass it up to add to my recipes and bbq and give it a try. Since I first tried it I’ve told many of my friends about it. It’s amazing! But I would also recommend trying a little first just straight so you understand the flavor profile. I’m not a guy who likes really spicy things so I cut it with a little bit of my other favorite seasonings or make “horsey sauce” using the powder with some sour cream. Spices that aren’t nearly as good can often times cost twice as much at your local grocery store. Do yourself a favor and just order a bottle. It comes in a plastic seal fresh bottle like say a McCormicks spice.

I got another brand as as well, in order to try them both out. I opted for this one. It actually has flavor and would work in making some dip if needed. I use in a mix of other herbs and bcaas for pain and circulation though. Horse radish is great for pain and your sinuses

An excellent product. I use this to make a cocktail sauce for shrimp. It has a good taste. Thank you for providing this item via the internet.

No matter how much or how little I use, this gives no horseradish flavor or kick. It's just nasty and bitter. I ruined a few dinners with it. I should have tossed it in the garbage after the first attempt.

We use Horseradish powder often and was upset when another supplier discontinued it. Knowing D'allesandro has a decent reputation for quality - "took a chance" and am happy to say very pleased. It had the same flavor profile as the previous product we used. We only use about 1lb a year, but will certainly look for D'Alessandro Horseradish Powder when next is it needed We have found that the same "equivalency" of 1/4 tsp powder for 3/4 tsp of either fresh ground or prepared in jar. the only "I Wish" was that there was a "granular" version as that form works better in our personal blends and in rubs.

Though the powder had a faint horse radish flavor, it had zero zing. I have no idea what to do with it now.

This is a very nice tasting Powdered Horseradish. The label states that it's only ingredient is Horseradish. It has a mellow sweetness, then a Horseradish bite then heat, depending on how much you taste. I made Cocktail sauce with it, by mixing the powder in water first then adding all my other ingredients and except for a smoother texture, you couldn't tell the difference between fresh and this lovely powder. It is a fine powder, off white in color and comes in a plastic container with flip top. I'll buy this again.
