DuruBrown Fine Bulgur, 35.2oz (1000g), Wheat Berries, 100% Natural and Certificated, High Fiber and Protein, Non-GMO, Great for Vegan Recipes, Better than Rice

I've ordered this bulgur for Kebbeh. I probably ordered 6 of these. One time it came old and I had to compost it, but the other five times it was fresh.

Local stores only have coarse, so I was glad to find Amazon had it. It's just what my tabbouleh needed. I have also used the coarse for walnut and mushroom Kibbeh. Looking forward to using this fine bulgar (which is traditional) instead. The package arrived intact, and I think it tastes very good.

I searched everywhere locally for fine bulgur wheat, but quantities and prices were ridiculous or the product was not even available. Thank goodness for Amazon! Several bulgur wheat types & quantities exist here. I chose Duru FINE Bulgur Wheat because it suited my recipes best & I'm happy with the results, texture, & taste. When I need additional product, this is what I will reorder.

This is perfect for any fine bulgur recipes. It's extremely delicious, very healthy and filling. Definitely will buy again.

When I first opened the bag of Duru Fine Grain Bulgur, the appearance of the bulgur reminded me of a finer textured version of couscous. The 35.2oz bag includes a reusable piece of tape to provide a decent seal on the bag after it is opened. The stone milled brown bulgur has a fresh grain aroma. The first recipe I tried making was a warm bulgur breakfast bowl. Since the bulgur is so fine, it was easy to cook similar to an oatmeal or cream of wheat. The bulgur had a really delicious nutty flavor and paired beautifully with the hot milk and dried fruit with nuts added on top. It had a slight/faint chew which made me realize that one of my favorite things about bulger is the distinct chewiness that it provides. The fine grain still has a chew but it is limited. I found that after eating a bowl of bulgur, I did not snack until the next meal which is a wonderful added benefit for me. The manufacturer included a recipe of Kibbeh on the package which I look forward to trying. There are also a plethora of recipes available on their website that includes bread, salads, pilaf, burgers, soups, and even dessert. There are 22 servings per container with 152 calories, 0.9g Total Fat, 26g Total Carbohydrates, and 5g Protein per 2/3 cup serving. It is a Product of Turkey. The product that I received has a best before date of 17 months from the date that I received it. I found this a delicious grain that can be enjoyed any time of the day.
