this one was no different than any others I have tried. I can tell by not taking it prior to going to the gym and my effort in 5-7% more for the exact amount of exercise on the same machine than if I took it with a glass of water 2+ hours prior. I take these every day now. My Dr. got me started on these and I was so happy he did tell me about this and I am glad I still take them. Got my GF on them also as she likes to hike in the foothills twice a week.
