Battery Fit Prius 14 Perfectly - Fair Price - Good Quality
The battery in my 2014 Prius Four - was 7 years old. Past experience with a 2007 Prius (I waited too long and the battery died) incentivized me to replace this battery before it died. If you have ever tried to access a 12V battery in the 2007-2014 (and maybe newer?) they are located in the back right side of the storage area. If they die, you cannot open the rear hatch or anything else for that matter... so once you get into the car using your mechanical key hidden in your electronic key case, you have to lower the seats and crawl into the back cargo area and release the rear hatch to open it .... crawl back out of the car and then access the battery to replace it. Not easy to do... the crawling in and out part... when you are in your 70's as I am. I did a lot of searching at auto part stores online and via phone calls... Amazon had the best price for this AC Delco. Then I brought the old battery to an Autozone store and they recycled it for me and gave me a $10 gift certificate to boot. Ordinarily they charge $18 for the core of the battery that you buy from them and refund it when you bring the old battery back. I did not get $18, but I saved about $20 with the purchase of this battery through Amazon and got a $10 gift certificate from Autozone.... win-win. Easy to install ... just make sure you connect the vent to the proper location on the battery because the last thing you need is explosive vapors from the battery circulating in your car... so it must be vented to send them outside the car. Very easy to do... just remember to do it. I cannot speak for how long this battery will last... but I also would advise charging it to full charge before installation. It arrived about 80% charged.

Good Replacement Battery
Needed this as a replacement when my OEM battery finally died. I've used it for a few years now and it has functioned extremely well. Probably won't last as long as the original, but it's a solid replacement and no complaints or regrets.

Perfect fit for 2013 Prius V. Read this for installation tips.
Battery arrived promptly heavy and double-packed. Perfect fit for the well inside my 2013 Prius V. Arrived fully charged, but if yours is not be sure to fully charge it before installation. My old battery went completely dead after about 2 weeks of non-driving. Can't complain about 6 year battery life. No problem, I'll charge it like any 12V car battery. Even though the 12V battery is buried in the rear of the car, Toyota has helpfully provided an access point for the positive electrode under the hood. Make sure your charger can handle "AGM" type batteries. Most new "smart" chargers do. My 12V charger tried but gave up after about 5 minutes, even though I tried it about four times. Classic chicken-and-egg problem. To replace the 12 volt battery you need to open the rear hatch, but the hatch latch requires the 12 volt power you do not have. No problem, check YouTube for how to mechanically open a rear Prius hatch. Plenty of advice about the little silver lever you access by taking the rear deck apart, but my V has no such lever. I spent about an hour futzing around with flashlight, magnifier and two broken fingernails but could never find any type of mechanical release inside the tiny opening revealed by removing a pop-off plastic cover. In desperation I tried charging a few more times (some deeply discharged batteries require this) and finally there was just enough juice to operate the rear latch.A 10 mm socket wrench is all you need to remove a top bracket and the two electrode clamps. The positive clamp has a swing-away red plastic cover, revealing a second 10 mm nut. You do not need to remove this one, only the one holding the clamp onto the positive electrode. The positive electrode is a very tight fit, requiring a flat blade screwdriver to slightly coax the jaws apart after loosening the nut. Four nuts total. Be sure to unplug (and reconnect ) the little rubber hose (vent?) on the short edge of the battery facing the front of the car.Be warned that a Prius 12V battery naturally and slowly discharges even when the car is parked because on-board electronics such as remote locks require power all the time. It's advised to drive the car after extended rest periods to recharge the 12V battery. To avoid the chicken/egg nightmare I encountered I plan to replace it every 4-5 years or so, before it gives up.If someone can shed light on the mechanical rear latch release please let us know.

Battery failed within a month
I bought this battery for my 2012 Prius which wouldn't start. Installation was easy, and it was a perfect fit. I patted myself on the back and thought my troubles were over. Within 30 days, the car again refused to start, and the battery would not hold a charge. The battery has a 24 month free replacement warranty, but good luck if you need to use it. Calling the AC Delco support number was wasted time, as they said only Amazon could make warranty adjustments. Amazon's website would say the item couldn't be returned and referred me back to AC Delco. It took two tries over several days on Live Chat, but I did get Amazon to agree to refund the cost. Zero stars for the battery, two stars for Amazon. It shouldn't have been that hard to get a refund, and the confusion over who was responsible for issuing the refund made the whole experience irritating. Put a crowbar in your wallet and buy one from the dealer.

Best replacement battery for Prius - excellent fit and works like a champ
Excellent battery - fits 2010 Prius perfectly, works like a champ. Due to our 3 year old leaving the interior light on, combined with rarely driving the car for a while, I've gone through 3 batteries at this point and can do the battery change in literally < 15 minutes. I've had the Prius standard, the Optima x2, and now this ACDelco. I like the ACDelco the best of all 3 batteries and would highly recommend. Among other things, the packaging is excellent (foam all around), the handle is much nicer and overall look and feel was top notch. Those are nice but of course the biggest and most important is that the terminals fit perfectly, battery slips right into place, and it works like a champ.
