We are ALL on lebara.
Cannot fault these as a provider. As they use VODA their roaming is great globally. Its not cheap but the inc internation countires are spot on. Make a chargeable event every 90 days and if stays active. Stick on some credit and send one text per 90 days. Then your banking OTPs work on your UK number if you are out of the UK a lot.

Works well
Instead of three months at £2.50 as in the description I got a straight 5 gig/pmth for a fiver instead of the 3 gig/£5 advertised.Excellent- will save me money over the long term 😁👍 (or at least more data for the same price).Coverage is good and I was getting 31 Mb/s when I tested it outside. I've had no issues whatsoever. They have lost a star for the incredibly opaque setting up process, and I can understand some of the lower stars in reviews regarding that. Once it's set up it's a doddle, and the app means you can top up anytime. If they just presented you a better explanation of the way the balance system works it'd be five stars from me, and a lot more positive reviews from other people who have posted in this thread.

DO NOT BUY THESE. Yet again THE SIM that arrives empty
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Like a fool, I bought a second Lebara SIM because the deal looked good on the first one, 3Gb data, 1000 mins, and 100 international mins. The first one arrived I put it in the phone and nothing, no credit, nothing. I contacted Lebara 4 TIMES who messed me around saying that they would call me back within 48 hours which they didn't, then when they eventually called they agreed that there was no credit on the SIM and promised me that a new one would be dispatched within 48 hours. Nothing, 72 hours later I have a tracking number a Royal Mail one which amusingly when used says it cannot give me any tracking data until the package has been delivered. Good old Royal Mail, no wonder they're going down the pan.Not wanting to wait any further, this SIM is for my elderly father-in-law and, not thinking for a minute thinking that this couldn't happen twice I purchased another SIM through Amazon with supposedly the same preloaded plug-and-play package, It arrived yesterday with no credit or anything on it. I don't usually write poor reviews just putting the experience down to the fact that buying things online these days is a gamble but this is an attractive deal for lots, some of whom might be reliant on getting a good deal. These SIM's and Lebaras poor response to the difficulties experienced means my recommendation is run a mile. Don't waist your time or money,

Unreliable and disappointing.
Disappointing Experience with LebaraMy experience with Lebara has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite paying half of what I used to with another network for the same product, I've found Lebara's service to be incredibly unreliable, providing no value for money.Lebara claims to be "smarter", but my interactions with the company suggest otherwise. It seems they only care about lining their own pockets rather than providing a reliable service. Piggybacking on Vodafone's network infrastructure doesn't seem to improve matters either. The service failures are numerous and consistent. Despite assurances and promises, the delivery of services is unstable, and Lebara's credibility in delivering on their commitments is severely lacking. Trusting their service for security or business needs is out of the question due to its unreliability.Furthermore, the lack of control over deliveries by Lebara ISP only exacerbates the issue. Even after multiple reports, the problems persist, with no resolution in sight. It's impossible to maintain communication continuity, ensure home or business security, or even work from home reliably with Lebara's service.Continuous reconfiguration of internal network settings and wasted time only add to the frustration. In short, Lebara has failed to deliver on its promises, resulting in a significant loss for this once-loyal customer. Here's a summary of the problems encountered:Unreliability despite assurances and promisesUnstable service deliveryLack of credibility in Lebara's deliveryVery unreliable service that cannot be trusted for security or business needsLack of control over deliveries by Lebara ISPFrequent lack of service delivery despite no technical issues reported from Vodafone infrastructure and transmittersLeaving Lebara was not a decision made lightly. It's solely due to the company's inability to provide a satisfactory service and fulfill its obligations to customers. I wouldn't recommend Lebara to anyone, as it's nothing but a waste of time and money. In conclusion, my experience with Lebara has been a big disappointment. They need to seriously reconsider their approach and prioritize delivering on their promises rather than stretching out their hands for money without delivering the service they claim.

Better than rural BT broadband
Rural BT broadband is only 12Mb/s.I installed a Zycell 4G router (FWA710 on the chimney ) with a Zycell WiFi box (NWA1123-ACV3) in the middle of the house. Now with Libara I get upto 99Mb/s download - average > 50Mb/s for £25.Cheaper than Starlink.
