The Book of Mac: Remembering Mac Miller Hardcover – 26 October 2021

This book is not about the life of Mac Miller, this book is about the author's life though the years as Mac Miller released his music. This is a selfish attempt to get rich off the back of a dead artist. I am ashamed to have purchased a copy of this book and I pray others do not buy it. The author is surly a fantasist and wishes she was as famous as Mac. I am just so shocked that this book got the greenlight as an official remembrance of Mac Miller, the author goes in to a great amount of detail about her self and her love of Cats. Trust me, this is the weirdest remembrance I have ever come across in my life. This author should be ashamed of themselves, but then again, I guess, when you are so self obsessed and the opportunity to write a book for someone else comes along, you would just talk about yourself the whole way through.

Sadly the book feels like it’s more about the author than it is Mac… not expected for something called the book of Mac! Also the physical quality is pretty poor… every page nearly is cut to a different length as shown in my picture. Very awkward to thumb through and read. Disappointing.

The book looks like it's 50 years old! Yellow pages all cut to different lengths. Let's not get into the content. Total garbage avoid.

As a huge fan of Mac, I bought this to learn more about him. Unfortunately the author took his death as an opportunity to tell us about her and her struggles. Extremely selfish and manipulative, she should be ashamed. Oh well, I will be buying Paul's book to see if it's actually about Mac.

In german now:Leider muss ich sagen das mich dieses Buch bisher sehr enttäuscht hat. Als Jahre Langer Mac Miller fan hab ich mich sehr darüber gefreut das ein Buch über ihn und sein Leben veröffentlich wird, nun ja bis aber auf paar Passagen von Freunden/Kollegen/Familie erfährt man seeeehr viel über die Autorin des Buches und wie Mac ihr in verschiedenen Lebens abschnitten „geholfen“ hat. Ich denke aber jeder einzelne Fan hat da seine Persönlichen Geschichten inwiefern Mac dessen Leben beeinflusst hat.Also muss ich leider so sagen, keine Kauf Empfehlung wenn man viele Mac storys erwartet o.ä. sehr schade!Ausserdem wirkt das Buch nicht besondere Hochwertig, zick zack ausgeschnittene seiten wie man im Foto sieht, keine ahnung ob das so gewollt ist oder halt einfach nur Billig ist, auch sehr schade!RIP Mac 🖤
