Anodized Aluminum Extended Mag Release Lever for Ruger 10/22 (Black)

Nice quality. Super easy to install and works great. Sooooo much better than the original mag release.

It fit perfectly and worked perfectly! I tested it in an IPSC competition with 200 shots, without any problems.

Solid $12 buy for my 10/22. Easy to install. Looks good. Works well. Slight play side to side but you are adding extra leverage so it's easier to tell now. If you're on the fence, just do it.Only 4 stars because nothing is ever perfect.

I installed three of these in my 10=22's. If you are looking for the extended mag release, I like this one. I had also ordered a silver one of another brand for my stainless rifle, but it fit loose, and rattled. Very unpleasant feel. Returned it and got one of these. Fits well and not loose. There are also Volquartsen short versions, and I have a couple of those, but the advantage is only that it is better for bench rest target work, where you can rest the bottom of the trigger guard on something. Otherwise, flipping your finger to release the mag without letting go of your grip is nice with this one. I have also seen a "stubby" version, which fits in FRONT of the trigger guard, but sticks out on each side. I prefer this one. While you are at it, install the bolt release mod at the same time. That uses only one pin. Do the mag mod first, then go back and add the bolt slingshot release action plate.

This was easy to install in my Ruger 10/22. The curve just hugs the trigger and it is long enough that i can release the magazine and catching it with my other hand. I am getting ready for a marksmanship workshop where I will need to quickly change between cartridges. Honestly, there are several similar items that do the same thing, but as this one worked for me, I ordered another one for my second 10/22.
