Primary Arms GLx Absolute Cowitness Micro Dot Riser Mount w/ .125" Spacer (1.41" or 1.535" Height)

Good mount. Recoil lug. Two screws. Steel thread inserts. Proper 1/3 co witness with standard height mount with spacer used with the Holosun He503r. Primary arms magnifier lines up nice.

This well-made smartly designed riser mount by Primary Arms provides an excellent alternative the ugly rectangular brick shaped mounts that seems to come with most micro red dots of today. Its central cantilevered strut looks awesome on an AR-15 and it can be mounted angled forward or to the rear. The machining and finish is excellent and the black blends well with my “kit”. The red dot mounting surface is T1/T2 compatible and holds a Sig Sauer Romeo 5 snugly. The base fits tightly to a picatinny rail due to its recoil lug and two cross-bolt torx screws. There is very little play in the interface. Those two screws offer more security than a one screw mount and when coupled with a recoil lug the setup can’t even think about shifting once the hardware is tightened down. Don’t forget to shift the base forward against the picatinny rail before tightening the screws, this pits recoil physics to your advantage and allows the recoil lug to do its job. The mount can be installed for absolute co-witness or with an included 0.125” (1/8”) spacer to lift the dot for a lower 1/3 co-witness. My Romeo 5 sits on this mount at absolute co-witness height without the spacer. The base of the mount has two holes that allow the dot mounting screws to pass through the base and up into the base of the red dot with standard hand tools.The mount comes in a presentation quality box and is well packaged. The contents includes the riser mount with mount screws, spacer, 8 red dot mounting screws (4 short and 4 long), small driver tool, and large driver tool.There is a fair share of available riser mounts out there……some really good and some really bad, some really expensive and some really cheap. Primary Arms is a respected company and provides a really good product without being overpriced.

Great upgrade for Sig Romeo 5. Perfect co witness or lower one third. Comes with multiple screws for 2 mounting heights.

Used this to get an absolute cowitness with a Holosun red dot and magnifier. I love how it looks, and the way it is designed I can actually get the magnifier closer to the red dot than with the standard riser.

The cantilever offset is perfect.

Finally a mount for my Romeo 4h that lines up perfectly with my monstrum ghost 3x prism magnifier! Have gone through at least a half dozen t1 mounts that are supposed to be absolute co witness, but were always a little short to line up properly with magnifier, this mount with the spacer is perfect & this is a better built, stronger mount than some others that cost twice as much- absolutely the best T1 mount I've ever had,will be buying at least 6 more for all my Romeos,swampfox, & holosun micro dots!
