Red Laceleaf Weeping Japanese Maple Tamukeyama Tolerates Sun - Live Plant

Came very small but has more than doubled in size after only a week. Seems to be flourishing so far!

The single branch that is on the plant does appear healthy however it appears very weak and the branch offshoot is not two years old as purchased. Also the base of the plant was completely cut off (see pictures). While I did not expect a fully grown tree it did not even meet the lowest of expectations. At this price a tree that is has a main shoot which is not cut off would be best and at minimum should have a single strong branch for a tree which is advertised to be 2 years old.

Thought the tree would be bigger

I planted mine today in. A homemade Bonsai trainer. I know it will be a slower process until I see a full wonderful tree but I’m excited for this to be displayed by my future Koi pond. It is small and had only about six leaves but I’ve had it as delivered (but out of the delivery box) for about a week and have already seen growth and new shoots budding tiny leaves. It seems hearty but I’ll give it all the love it deserves.I’d recommend it.

I don’t think this spindly plan was worth the money at all. I hope it survives and grows fast. It was delivered sooner than expected while we were out of town.

Very disappointing. I should have taken time with these reviews but was trying to make quick decisions for the spring planting.I’ll plant this $39 twig to see if it magically shows any meaningful sign of life bit may return it if it stays so weak-looking.A wise consumer could find much better specimens of lace leaf Japanese maple at Home Depot or Lowes….

This tree is beautiful! It arrived quickly and well packaged. It was and remains healthy and beautiful. It is between 2-3 ft tall and had a healthy amount of foliage at the top. It also had a shoot starting midway up the trunk which has since continued to grow. I have it in a pot in my living room, at present, and enjoy seeing it thriving.

I waited until now to write this. I was disappointed when it first arrived...it certainly did not look like the picture!! it was basically a small sprout of a tree which you have to nourish before it resembles a "tree". we've kept it indoors in the box of dirt it came in and it has grown another 6 inches making it a total of 24" high from top soil. we plan to replant it in a "planter" for the spring and see how it grows.We are hopeful. It appears to be a healthy plant; definitely growing; it will most likely take several years or more before it looks like the picture. Please note, we should have realized the "2 ft" plant advertised included the 8" root box which it was delivered in. We were hoping to plant the tree on the side of the house but will now need to look for an older "sprout" to do that.
