The appliques are well made and very decorative. I ordered 8 pairs to complete my project. However, it is best to mount the appliques first before applying any finish to them. As the wood itself is somewhat soft and porous, applying a finish before mounting would cause a slight swelling of the wood and sometimes causes the wood to bend slightly. Mounting them first really helps to stabilize the appliques when apply paint or any other type of wet finish. Otherwise, I highly recommend this product.

I spray painted these gold and put them at the middle top and middle bottom of this wall molding. The top piece has an additional different piece on top of it. They’re beautiful and I love them.

Purchased to create wall panels. I recommend gluing them down before painting. I did the reverse and the paint moisture made the pieces warp a bit. Luckily we have caulk!Recommended for your creation

I ordered 2 packages of two and Both packages had one broken on the Fleur de right under the clam shell.I could see one broken but both packages worth exactly the same issue tells me the producer is shipping one good quality And one second in a package of two.If you want all good quality the order a package of two for each one that you want.Disappointed with receiving a second but love the design. Otherwise they are well cut and beautiful.
