Why are not all the measurements given in the way we use for measurements in the United States?
I would have given this recipe book five stars because the recipes included are interesting, fun and creative.... if US measurements had been included. There is a measurement chart included but it doesn't help much. I could spend a long time making recipes from this book. But essential measurements are given in the way they measure things in England (where this book was printed). I understand it would have been extra work to give US measurements, but I really wish that the cookbook authors had done that. Even a comprehensive conversion chart in the back of the book would have been thoughtful. Now I am going to have to buy a measurement conversion chart just to make these recipes. Frustrating!

Beautiful Illustrations covers various ethnic dishes
This book is beautifully written, illustrated and extremely informative. I was gifted this after buying my Yum Asia Panda Rice Cooker. The recipes cover various regional recipes where rice is a main staple. It should provide a great start to knowing how versatile your cooker can be. Having mainly been a pasta person it’s information is great for me getting to know about rice and the array of possibilities. Enjoying my Yum Asia Panda multi function rice cooker immensely as well! Book and cooker are a perfect duo!

One complaint
I really like this book, but I do have one complaint. There are many different size of rice cookers. It would have been helpful if each recipe stated what size rice cooker to use. Recipes list from 2-3 servings to 8 servings. Obviously a 3serving recipe would be fine for a small cooker, but based on serving sizes being different, what sizes cooker for volume would be informative.
