Fantastic item, compact, well built, very useful. Already indispensable.

After looking at various cup holders and trays to attach to my music stand, I opted for this product due to it having both. I also liked that the tray has a taller side at the front, which looks better that just a flat tray. (observers won't see all the little bits I put on my tray).It made more sense for me to buy the Starter Kit, rather than each part individually. The starter kit also includes the hub.It arrived promptly and I was eager to try it out. I liked the look of it and felt it was well made and sturdy.However, I encountered an initial problem: The Hub is limited in size and won't fit stands with wider diameters (you can't clip it closed if the stand is wider). This was probably due to me not reading the product description fully, which says it is for microphone stands. I had ordered it for a music stand and some of these have wider stand diameters. Fortunately for me, I had also just ordered a new music stand (old one had broken) and the new stand was narrower. So, the hub fitted my new stand and I'm happy now. Just be aware of that if you're ordering and hoping it will fit a wider stand.Also, I was disappointed with the cup size. They could have made this bigger. I chose this product because it has an opening on one side, which meant I would be able to put a mug in for my coffee. Sadly, I discovered that I have to use a narrower coffee cup (and hence less coffee to drink.... which is important for a coffee lover). Also, wider glasses and cups won't fit in. You need a narrower cup or mug. I'll put up with this annoyance because I do like the overall product and feel it's a better option that a separate tray and cup holder.I've given 4 stars due to those factors, but otherwise very happy with the product.Manufacturer: Maybe you could consider making a wider cup holder for this kit and possibly a hub that fits wider stands? That would really give this product a great boost.
