High Quality Dual Layer Optical Media at a fair price
Dual Layer DVD media is notoriously suspect. There are many stories out there where people tell you how many "coasters" they created while trying to use these. I use this brand in the stock optical drive in my MacPro Tower. Most packs write without any failures. Every now and then, one of them fails. But, my experience is that this is very rare with this brand. I highly recommend these.

Great value for the money
Most DVDs give 120 minutes recording time. These allow 240 minutes so you can record long movies onto a single DVD.

Product great, packaging not so great.
Would be 5 stars but the packaging could be a little better, this is the second time that one of the spindle cases was broke during shipping. Other than that the DVDs work great, have not had any bad media as of yet and this is the second time ordering the 100 pk.

I’ve been using these for years
I’ve been using smart buy brand for years and so far I have not had 1 single bad disk. Maybe that’s not a thing anymore but I used to get a bad disk or 2 in each spool when I used other brands.

Double the storage capacity, twice the fun!
Great price - product is perfect. I burn copies of movies for my grandchild - we all know how rough they can be on things! This way when the disc is damaged or destroyed I can still have the original in my back pocket to replace their copy with! Spent a fortune replacing discs until I figured out this trick.

Terrible quality control
I have used these double layer discs for years with very few problems. I use about 250 to 500 per year. The latest order of 100 discs I received was absolute junk. I tried them on three different burners and experienced approximately a 90% failure rate. A different brand of discs worked without issue. Way too expensive to gamble on them again.

I've only burned about 10 of these so far and ...
I've only burned about 10 of these so far and haven't had a problem yet. I burn a lot of DVDs (over 25,000 in the last 10 years) and find that in most (but not all) cases that if you have a bunch of discs that are failing, it is normally because your DVD Burner is old and warn out, not because the discs are poorly manufactured. DVD Burners are cheap, if you are having a lot of problems burning (especially DL), you might just want to replace your burner with a new one rather than blaming it on the discs. New burners only cost about 20 bucks.
