Perfect item for Parents everywhere!!!
So, once upon a time a mother with a child who is being stubborn with transitioning from his bottles came along. We found transition cups that really worked but as many toddlers can be(even at 16 months), he always wanted what I was drinking, which was normally bottled water. I was looking for a way for him to drink without dumping the whole thing on the ground and low and behold.... JellyCAP!!These things are AMAZING. They do exactly what they say they do. Now with my son being younger and the liquid comes out faster than he's used to, sometimes we have a major dribble situation happen. So much better than a whole drop of the water bottle! There was a problem with receiving my package via post office delivery, but never fear! JellyCAP made magic happen.Thank you JellyCAP for such an amazing product that my son can grow into and enjoy for years. This is a definite gift worthy thing to purchase for any new mothers to be. :)You guys are the absolute best.So what are YOU waiting for? Try these out and you won't regret it. They come in their own plastic cases for that on the go situation. Perfect for outings and last minute drink emergencies!

Okay product
Bought product for my elderly mother with Alzheimer's. Works well on the water bottles but not on bottled soda. The soda's carbonation causes it to fizzle and drip out of the straw. :(

Very useful when they work, there are a couple issues
On the recommendation of another triplet mom, we got these caps to use when we're out rather than carrying sippy cups with us all the time. For the most part, these work pretty well. They seem very durable and have a nice, gummy consistency without feeling sticky like some products made of a similar material. There are a couple of issues I've had, though, so I'll describe them. First, they do not stay on the water bottles with very short caps. Many water bottles are made with small caps nowadays to be more environmentally friendly. The first time I gave one to the kids, they put their mouth on it and that popped the cap right off - there's just not enough threading for the JellyCAP to grab. Those water bottles also tend to be made of thinner plastic and are easy to accidentally squeeze and squirt water everywhere, but that's user error :) The other issue we've had is that the JellyCAP supposedly takes standard-sized straws, but it actually seems to take slightly smaller straws than the ones at most restaurants. We can get the straw through the hole with some wiggling, but it is so air-tight that it forms a vacuum and is almost impossible for a kid to suck liquid up the straw. I'd rather the hole be slightly too big than slightly too small. Alternatively, perhaps the hole could have nubs of rubber to hold the straw firmly in place, but still allow some air past the straw. Because of these problems, we can only use these about 75% of the time when the kids have drinks, otherwise we just have to use a straw with no cap and hold the bottle ourselves. But they're pretty useful when they do work so they get 4 stars from me.

Forget sippy cups!
I love these caps so much! I bought them because I thought they would be easier for my 15 month old to drink from water bottles when we are not at home. I hate dragging sippy cups around. These are PERFECT! They are threaded on the inside and they are flexable like the material baby bottle nipples are made from. Obviously they are not leak proof because there is no one-way valve but I find most toddler sippy cups are not really leak-proof all the time anyway (ever dropped one of those munchkin miracle cups with milk in it?). My daughter likes it because she can suck on it like her bottle, I like it because there is no nipple for her to chew off and it is not screwing up her front teeth. If she does drop a bottle with this on the liquid doesn't come gushing out so I have a little time to grab it before it spills a bunch of liquid on the floor. It does require some supervision for a child her age, but like I said, so do her "leak-proof" sippy cups. Lastly, each cap comes with a plastic carry case so they stay clean in my purse (and doubles as a grumpy toddler toy).

Waste of money for toddler, very disappointed
I want to love this thing but I don't. I have a hard time putting it on water bottles without squirting water everywhere in the process (especially if it's a cheap bottle of water). It doesn't close or anything so if you drop the bottle it goes everywhere. It doesn't regulate the water at all so my 1 year old gets too much and god forbid he squeezes or holds the bottle and water comes squirting out EVERYWHERE. I thought it would just have a little slit opening at the top like a lot of the sport drink bottles.Would work well for older children maybe?

These are awesome!
I bought these and they stayed in the carrier for a minute so I thought maybe they weren’t needed. At home I use sippy cups. But we went to the movies and bought waters in bottles. My two year old drank with these caps the whole movie and didn’t spill. He had an easy time drinking out of the bottle and no spills. It was so easy and made it so I didn’t worry at all when he needed a drink.
