Best IEMs for dance!
So I was looking for an IEM to use for dancing choreography. I needed wired earbuds because I wanted to stream the music to a video camera and to my ears without any delay. I had some over the ear headphones with a long cord that sounded great, but they looked bulky and detracted from the visual.I needed an IEM that really delivered a punchy sound that made me want to dance. I felt skeptical about whether an IEM could be as good as my over the ear headphones. Because over the earphones deliver a bass sound That vibrates a little bit and delivers the "life force" of a song to you well. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this IEM was just as good as my over the ear headphones! The sound of the bass was very comparable.I compared this one between three others:Shure AONIC 215 (expensive)FiiO FH3 (expensive)Moondrop CHU II (cheap)I compared them by listening to the same song, switching out and seeing which one made me feel like dancing. This one came out on top, and it wasn't a hard decision. It had a punchy delivery that really made me want to get up and dance. It was a fairly striking difference between the other ones.I think with IEMs, the goal is often a clean sound. However, this "clean" sound is kind of flat and doesn't really hit your soul. That's how I felt about all the others. They felt flat, the music felt lifeless. However, these ones totally hit me in my heart and gut when I listened to music with them! I couldn't believe these cheap ones were so much better. I was willing to pay more. The main genre I was listening to was K-pop. This has both complex vocals with punchy bass and intricate song patterns. These IEMs did not diminish the quality of any of my songs. The vocals were not drowned out by the bass or diminished. The vocals were strong and all sounds of the music felt like they hit as they should.I also have slower songs like with piano and such and they sounded crystal clear.Okay one downside to these. The cable was too short for me. Since I was dancing, I need my cable to be about 6 ft long. That was fine though because I just purchased a new two pin cable. It didn't diminish the quality of the sound. One other nice thing about these is the right ear has a very small red ring around it so it's easy to figure out which ear to put it in. Red for right is easy to remember. Also, I had to purchase a wire clip to attach it to my clothing. With the newly purchased wire, these were a bit heavy Because the wire had some weight to it. But with the clip, I didn't notice them. They fit nicely in my ear canal and the shape of the body fits nicely in the outer shape of my ears. The shape allows you to easily tell which way they go, Because once you turn them in the right place, they settle in my ears and match my natural ear shape well.I liked the rubber ear bud covers. They created a decent seal in my ears. They provide you with different sizes. Sometimes after some time they might start to fall out, but that's only if you don't wrap the cord behind your ear nicely. One other downside. The original cable is kind of flimsy. It's clear by the way, and the part of the wire that goes behind your ear is not very stiff. It's kind of like a semi stiff plastic that doesn't hold its shape that well. You probably want to get a different cable if you're really concerned about this. However, if you aren't going to be moving around much, you might not even need to worry about this and can just use the original cable. With the shape of the earbuds, it stays in fairly decently regardless of the cable. So far as the color, I went with the gold. I wanted a color that kind of blended in with my skin. I think they look just fine. And I think it's kind of cool like there's a bit of a flashy look to them. But you can't really tell in a dance video where you're pretty far from the camera. I think if I was a YouTuber, I might go with the black just to look more standard. Unless you like to wear flashy outfits. Then I might go with the gold, for fun. :)Overall, I'm quite pleased with these, and I would totally recommend them. One last note, my photos are showing the buds with my replacement cable. The original cable is lighter in color and almost transparent.

Solid Construction and Solid Sound
Sound quality is fine. No complaints at all. These do have a lot of gain, so they can be very loud if desired. Works well with my phone that did not work well with my other various earbuds. The fit is very secure. Possibly too secure if you need to remove them to respond to someone that might be trying to talk to you in a work environment because you have to kind of unwind them from your ear carefully so you don't dislodge the cables. Using them seated is great, but these are not IMO suitable for use during athletics due to their weight. They're solid metal and pretty heavy, not so you'd notice sitting at your desk, but for joggers or high impact anything, they'll jostle out quickly and require constant reinsertion. All in all, I'd still go back to my Panasonic's on my next purchase due to lighter weight and more comfortable fit, for a few dollars less.

incredible
first iem and im truly blown away how good these are given the price point. i am pretty experienced in the field of audio from years of hobbies directly involved with audio. i can easily discern what sounds im hearing and how im hearing them and this model of KZ are beautifully balanced just as their described by the company and by the thousands of reviews. there is a beautifully clear and precise balance of all frequencies in the hearing range. bass sounds incredible, mids incredible, highs incredible. all incredible and these are absolutely perfect for producing and even djingi am getting a constant crackling sound just using the 3.5mm jack, when i use a dongle as pictured there is no crackling so i think the cable could be upgraded. i tried many different plug ins and all the same experience.i am very curious what a supposedly really nice set of iems can produce cause i dont know how much better it can get than these.

Generally pretty good earbuds, but prone to the ear pieces falling off
I love these headphones for their sound quality, comfort, and price. My biggest issue with them is the connection between the ear piece and the cord is quite weak and subject to chipping or breaking which makes the ear piece fall off and, in every pair I've had, has lead to one of the ear pieces eventually going missing. I don't believe I'm handling the ear buds in a particularly rough wat and I go out of my way to try and keep them safe, but this just keeps happening to me.

Great for Video Editing!!
I got these just to replace my regular cheap Sony corded earphones because after I bought a set of Moon Drop Nekocake wireless IEMs and realized that the clarity difference between even an inexpensive IEM and regular earphones are night and day. So, I did my research on Amazon and tried to find a decent corded IEM in my budget. These have exceeded my expectations and frankly, I don't know how I worked without them before. I have over the ear monitors that I have been using for video editing and audio editing for years that I have always been happy with, but the soundstage and the clarity especially in the vocal range is just a grade better than what I had.I guess this is really more a statement that this product has sold me on IEMs and the next time I make a professional purchase to upgrade my equipment for editing, I will be investing money into a higher quality IEM.To speak to this specific product though, very good build quality. They feel expensive, and the headroom is incredible. I listen to most recordings at 50% volume (without any preamp) and it is perfect. Once I get into 80% volume it feels uncomfortably loud. Which is a great problem to have, because it means I can hear the subtle details I am analyzing at a healthy and safe volume.I was hoping to just get a nice flat audio profile for my casual music listening and to have a pair of wired earphones for when my wireless IEMs run out of juice. I got way more than I bargained for. Although I do own a competitor's product too, I will likely give this company a shot when I go to make my professional purchase.
