It works well for my Rugged Razor, it's useful for throwing in the can before packing up to keep anything from burning through. I usually wait some time to let it cool off before packing but just having this is a great idea, especially for the price point.

Can’t go wrong at this price! I’ve used Mechanix gloves for years, thought I would give this a try. Works perfectly for my casual sporting! The competition can’t touch the price!

I bought the 12” version and liked it for a larger can- it’s basically a hot storage bag for a larger can. Seems like good quality so I ordered the 6” version for a smaller can. The 6” is basically a wrap for the smaller can- open at both ends. I haven’t taken them to the range yet, but they seem functionally like two different products. Not planning on returning either of them unless they fail when they go to the range.

I mainly shoot indoor range in the evening about an hour before closing time. If I waited for my suppressors to cool enough to go in my range cart, I would have to stop shooting 15 minutes early with a fan blowing on them the whole time.These bags let me shoot until the last minute without worry about anything melting to the can or damaging my range bag.

Wish I could give it more than 5 stars. For those with suppressors you know they get really hot! This works flawless. I do have one small complaint; wish it was a little bigger. I have larger than usual hands, but that's a me problem.

Perfect for the range

The inner insulation appears to handle the heat just fine, as claimed, however the outer shell will melt. The outer shell is wrapped around the inside edges, and those are where it will melt.Had this on a 556 suppressor and it melted after about 80 rounds in. Ran 60 rounds through one platform, swapped the suppressor over, it was fairly warm at that point but appeared to be doing its job. Once on the 2nd host, I ran about 20 more shots through it and noticed the cover was starting to smoke pretty significantly. I pulled the cover off the suppressor and watched it for a bit to make sure it wasn't going to catch fire. Pulling it off the suppressor left streaks the entire length of the suppressor. I continued to send rounds down range without this cover on, and the thermal distortion without the cover in place was much more pronounced. When I was done I went to remove the suppressor and discovered that some of the melted nylon had gotten into the QD mechanism and prevented me from being able to remove the suppressor. I had to disassemble the host to make things fit back into the case , and then had to take a torch to the suppressor mount until the material was hot enough to become a liquid to get the suppressor unmounted.This was a very unpleasant experience, and the fact that this product left residue on the suppressor that I can not remove without damaging the finish is also very disappointing.
