Overall rating: 4.25 StarsI bought a body shaper from Shapermint about 4 years ago, but I was never able to find the exact same product again (that's why you should always buy at least 2 of whatever product you love). At the time I bought the last one, Shapermint had multiple sub-brands within their lineup and the one I got was just incredible and very high quality. It has lost some of its compression, especially in the upper back area, but it still works very well. However, I figured it was time for a replacement anyway. After some browsing, I went with this one. Even though it doesn't have the extra compression strip around the midsection like the older one had, this new one has a very comfortable fit and it still does a pretty darn good job at smoothing things out. It also does an excellent job at appearing to be invisible under my tops and jeans. I'd give it 5 stars, but I definitely miss the EXTRA midsection compression from my older one as that really helped with my lower back pain and overall posture. This one is proving to be great for my upper back posture but doesn't feel like it has as much compression in the lower back area like the older one which was always a great source of added support, especially after long/busy days. Some of you may not need a body shaper for smoothing things out as much, but let me tell you that having a body shaper with good compression is such a must-have when it comes to upper AND lower back problems. I can attest to both. This new body shaper STILL gives great compression in the lumbar area, but I guess I'm just so used to the old one that this one doesn't feel quite as tight/supportive there. It very well could just be that I don't "think" it's as helpful as my previous one and that it's just a matter of adjusting with time and feeling the difference with time.Regardless of my 4.25-star rating (which I may change to 5-stars after using it a bit longer), Shapermint's body shapers are still better than any other shapers I've tried in the past decade or more, even better than the very expensive ones (and I have tried many).TO BE FAIR..... I think most people would find this body shaper to be a 5-star product. Again, my rating is based on a comparison to an older model (which was like the Rolls-Royce of all body shapers to me), so I'm taking three quarters of a point off because it's not "as amazing" as the older product. I know that it may be an unfair judgment, but it's just how I honestly feel at the moment. Here's hoping this new one will retain its tight compression as long as the older model did and last as long as well!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GIVE IT A SHOT! Your body and your back will thank you later (especially for the ladies with larger busts).

This was not open in the front! It even said that it was an open front on the front of the package.

Ordered 2 and wear them all the time nice support, but for larger chest size I would suggest going full cami as these don’t work well for under. Worth the money

Given the reviews, I expected better. For reference I'm 5'1" and some change. Approx. 230lbs. And I have a 40DD. It fit perfectly, however unless it was all the way down, which the length was below my butt, it would roll. If it was all the way down it would not roll. Very easy to put on, however the bottom could roll when moving or bending over , unless you had it all the way down, below the butt. I think the length was not ideal. Everything else was nice. Not made just wish it was a little better.

I will sport this with G cup, tight fit, almost too snug, It will stretch a bit

I have 3 of Shapermints camis and the only thing I don't like about them is how they flatten out my boobs. This looked like an answer as you can wear your own bra so I ordered it. First off, the "U" part in the front is not deep enough and even though I ordered up a size, it still jammed at my bra. I am at 36C-D and ordered an XL. I wore this for about 5 hrs and the straps cut into my shoulders so badly.....I'm not sure the indentations with be gone in 24 hrs. It was 5 hrs of torture. It did compress my tummy and waist exactly where I wanted but the straps with the bra straps was too much. Since I wore it, I won't return it but they need to go back to the drawing table with this one.
