New Kitchen Idea Book (Taunton's Idea Book Series) Paperback – Illustrated, 7 Oct. 2016

This book is American and you can see that in the pictures although good design and storage ideas have no boundaries! It shows some great ideas for how to make things fit what you have as opposed to the other way round which is nice if you like a place for everything and everything in its place.A lot of the kitchens in the book are really big and that gives a lot more options in terms of blending styles and colours as big rooms need texture and variety but you can pinch ideas that work for your space. I really liked the magnetic knife strip they had in a drawer so all your knives just lined up for easy access and the large concrete sink which could house the dish drainer as opposed to having all the water slop everywhere.I have a smallish kitchen which desperately needs redoing and I love looking at books and pictures of kitchens to get ideas and this book has given me lots.

Some useful information but a little dated

For up to the minute pictures and ideas? The book seemed dated and very USA orientated. Not a purchase i would recommend.

This book from the USA has a good variety of kitchen ideas. Lots of different styles, mainly large kitchens, good use of natural materials in most ranges. Good colour photos.
