I needed something for a very particular storage need and this fit the bill perfectly. Perfect size and very secure lids.

Ordered because they were the exact size I needed to store some dry clothes and fishing equipment in the back of my side by side. I read the reviews and the main complaint was the handles break. This didn't bother me because I premeditated a fix by drilling them out and putting a cotter pin in place of the "hinge" (which works great). How did I still get hosed? They came with 2 missing handles which obviously broke before they even got here! Would have been nice in my case to at least throw the broken junk in the box.Amazing that the company knows the handles are junk, they break at the factory, and they still ship them.

I previously purchased two of these containers in a big box store. I purchased a quantity of six containers.. the latches per container failure rate was 1 latch each on 2 of the six containers broke at the pivot pin. They were very similar, the exception being the latch clips. I thought the red clips were acceptable not thinking about the plastic strength. I suspect the latch plastic is of a lesser quality as two of the latches broke or were broken on arrival. The latches are redundant with 4 latches per container one dose not make the container unusable just not perfectly sealed. I did consider returning the item but my need outweighed the disappointment. I also devised a method of repairing the latch long term. I will take time to request some replacement latches to see how the vendor responds.

Overall these boxes are some of the sturdiest of plastic bins I've bought. However, this last batch of 6 arrived with the clamping pieces to one of the lids broken, so the lid can't be clamped down. I'm not sure it's worth returning 6 boxes when only 1 is broken, but here we are. Probably a good deal if they arrive in one piece, otherwise don't rely on having a lid. (Note: the shipping box was undamaged, it the retaining hub on the lids clamps that had been sheared off. Probably not packaged sufficiently well for shipping.)
