great hoods
bicycle hoods one has to know the exact model of the shifter assembly. both my bikes have Shimano but are slightly different this one fits perfectly on my Shimano ST-5800. I used hand sanitizer as a lubricant to aid in pulling the hood on, for the sanitizer will dry. I had over 11,000 miles on my last set of hoods

Remove your levers to install!!
The media could not be loaded. These are exactly what they should be, but videos and other question answerers do not tell you that if you install these on over the front by stretching them out over the hood, you are permanently deforming them.I used boiling water and alcohol to install them, and it was still extremely difficult, and they are stretched to the point where I want to replace them again.It would be easier and more effective to remove your lever and reinstall new shift cable and barb & olive on your brake line than stretching these out.

Problem solved!
This product fit like a glove on my Salsa Warroad endurance bike after a.combination of heat and my heavy hands slacked the hood covers that came.with the bike. I went on yootube to figure out how to install them.Caution - watch your fingers when installing!

One of the hoods had an 8mm cut it it. No way they were new.
