Good Product, Great Vendor
Very nice kit for the Electronic Experimenter and Radio Amateur. I'm using this kit to seperate the Display from Main PCB on an UBITX V5, Ham Radio Transceiver Kit.What's cool is that the Vendor has included a printed "Service Card" to address any product complaints, or issues. This shows that the Vendor has real concern, and is reading, and responding to these Reviews. It's heartening to see a company that cares about their customers nowadays. So I am Highly Recommending this Product, from this Vendor. My qualifications are many years working for Hewlett-Packard and Tektronix as a PCB Assembly Tech and a Statistician on the Printed Circuit Board Assembly Line. In addition, I've been assembling Electronics since age nine (9), when I rode my bicycle to the Original G.I. Joe's for Surplus Electronics Parts (G.I. Joe's was a Retail Sporting Goods chain in the Pacific NW through the late 1990s. They started out as a Surplus Store located on N. Vancouver Ave in Portland). And I'm an Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator since the 1970s.For the price, you can't beat this kit of 665 pieces. Even comes with Ribbon Cable.

Great deal for this many connectors AND a pretty good length of ribbon cable.Make sure to buy a crimping tool for these, and learn how to use it properly.Soldering these connectors onto a wire with just needle-nosed pliers or something is incredibly frustrating.I bought this crimping tool and it worked great: IWISS Dupont Professional Pin Compression Ratcheting Modular Insulated Terminal Crimper Pin Crimping Tool 2.54mm 3.96mm 28-18AWG 0.5-1.0mm2 with Wire-electrode Cutting Die--Orange Handle ONLY!!!I wish the dividers in the box were molded into the box and not just loose plastic inserts.Mine arrived with a couple of the inserts jostled out of place, and a lot of the connector parts were mixed together.

Good product
Nice selection of connectors and pins. The quality seems good. Also includes some ribbon cable. Plenty of product for hobby level user. I like the included plastic case, it is well made. I hot glued a wire loop to the end of the case so that I could hang it from a peg board.

Great price! Lots of connectors!
This is a great price for a useful set of hardware. There are a lot of connectors here for a low price. This will work great for my raspberry pi, Arduino, or general breadboard development.

Great kit, but don't forget the crimper
This is a perfect parts kit for fabricating single row 'Dupont' style .1" connector assemblies. While wire can be attached to the pins via meticulous hand work (e.g. small pliers and/or soldering) a hand crimper (not included in the kit) really makes for quick work. The kit includes many single row male and female pin assembly sizes along wit straight and 90 degree headers. Great for project cable assemblies connecting multiple boards.

Tedious, very utilitarian, effective in concept
I really wish these types of sets had real Dupont IDC crimp type with retainer clip cables instead of this pulling apart a color coded IDC ribbon cable, stripping the wire, tinning it, crimping on male or female Dupont connectors’ contacts, soldering those together, and hoping you left enough slack in the ribbon cable to stuff the contacts in a 1 or 2 pin wide plain Dupont connector so that way you don’t peal away too much insulator somewhere down the line. But in concept It meets my needs perfectly, I have yet to trust this kit in that it will not be a tremendous amount of ass pain once I get started so I have not started other that stripping hand separable IDC ribbon insulator and a quantity of stranded conductor along with it which just pissed me off right away so I walked away disillusioned in how much difficulty this would be to do by hand. That’s not the fault of these connectors but rather the process method which leads you hope that you did all the prep-work right with the included IDC ribbon cable which you have to splay with an X-axcto knife and strip with a 10 year old cheap Radio Shack mechanical stripper that I have had 4 houses ago. I haven't brought myself to use it because it looks tedious, and trying to fumble with that kit pin by pin after having had neck surgery is still not a pleasant prospect. I can’t offer an unbiased review until I have actually tried to use it after getting over the process inducing initial frustration that happened right off the bat with using old strippers. Time to order me a new one of those I guess.
