Good blower. I've found that the provided end nozzle constricts the airflow. Try removing it. It works better imo.

I've used blowers for probably 40 years, finding the high-end gas blowers to be the best as far as moving leaves, debris, etc. Electric blowers for their price are the most cost effective, but having to drag a power cord for any distance is annoying and trying to quickly coil a long extension cord is frustrating because of their tendency to twist when coiled.This Greenworks is a nice light-duty blower. It's extremely light weight, and with a flat nozzle, it concentrates the air flow where it's needed. Although it has a high, 150 mph rating, its cfm rating is rather low. Therefore, it won't move large amounts of leaves or debris. For cleaning a porch, deck, or leaves/debris from a residential-sized piece of equipment, it does a fine job. I purchased this blower specifically to blow grass and twigs from the deck and other areas of a large commercial front-deck mower and also use it to clean the removable metal screen in front of the liquid-cooled engine radiator.If you are older and pulling a rope starter is tiring if the engine doesn't quickly fire & start, this is a good blower. Battery life per charge is variable based on the power setting used, but it's adequate for most smaller household tasks.I would purchase it again particularly at its low retail price for a quality cordless product. Corded blowers are far less expensive, but I have grown weary of dealing with cords longer than 15-25 feet in length.

Affordability, the lightweight nature, and cordless are all advantages, but the total lack of quality and durability makes this a “do not buy.” We enjoyed our Greenworks leaf blower and used it ~ two dozen times for lightweight duty projects (blowing the sidewalk, garage, etc.), but after it started making a horrible noise, and became non-functional, we realized just what a subpar product it really was. Very disappointing. I have attached photos of our findings. We took the machine apart to see why it wasn’t working. Cheap products are made with cheap parts and poor manufacturing practices - and the Greenworks leaf blower falls into that category. Photos attached.

I bought this blower in July 2016 along with an extra battery later and it seemed to be working fine and pretty much did the work I expected it to do. On 2/11/2018 I plugged the battery in to charge and left in plugged in over night. The next day I was called saying that my workshop was on fire. The fire department and Fire Marshall said the blasé was caused by the battery and charger exploding and causing the blasé. Fortunately the fire department arrived quickly and extinguished the blasé. My workshop and power tools were damaged by heat and water and the Greenworks Blower, charger and batteries were melted beyond recognition. They were in close proximity to my band saw, drill press, scroll saw and bench grinder so what didn't get damaged by the fire was damaged by the water used to extinguish the fire. The shop suffered wall, cabinet and work bench damage that is minimal to what could have happened if the fire had not been caught in time. This should have never happened because most of the battery tools that I have use safety devices that will prevent the charger from working if something is wrong with the charger or battery ? If you own one of these units please be aware that this could happen to you.
