Certified Organic Chia Seeds in 3 Pound Bags (6 x 3 Pound Bags)

My horses love Equine Chia seeds! I like the fact there is a 2 year shelve life. Also, no grinding is wonderful...it keeps the integrity of the product. I give my horses 1 cup a day, 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the evening. I've seen a great improvement in their mobility...it's the best!

I really like having a better option for preventing colic and ulcers, while adding important Omega 3's and 6's to my horses' diets. And my horses love it. I add about 2 oz daily to their supplements with 1# of stable mix, and add a quart of water. The seeds swell with a gelatinous covering that increases the volume, so the horses think they're getting more to eat and look forward to their "snack".

I have been using this product for a few years for myself, my horse and my dog!!! We love it! It provides an excellent source of Omega 3 as well as digestive benefits. It is low in fat and high in fiber. I have convinced many friends to use this for themselves and their animals. I use chia seeds for my horse to help with colic. It seems to help and keep him hydrated. I would recommend soaking them first but that's my personal opinion.
