Kristin Ess Signature Hair Gloss - Amethyst Stone: Deep Rich Purple

It's crazy how soft this made my hair. I was a darker brunette, like a 5-6 and this didn't make my hair look too punk purple, just a nice deep hue. And so soft.

I have virgin hair that is typically more of a medium brunette, definitely not as dark as the hair in the pic on the box. This gloss did not add any purple elements to my hair. At all. I left it on for about 25 min or so after application was complete. Not even my grey hairs had any purple (I know it says it won’t cover greys but the bittersweet shade always did). Disappointed I didn’t get any fun new color on my hair, but at least it’s shiny now I guess.

This hair gloss smells good and is easy to apply, but the color was not as expected. The gloss effect is nice and shiny but I was disappointed to see that the color was not amethyst purple but instead a reddish magenta.

Did exactly what I needed it to do for my hair!

I used this product to add some color to my bleached section of the hair. While it did impart some color (the red worked amazingly for me) this purple color doesn't really look like purple because of the undertones of my hair. Not the product's fault but it would've been good to set the expectations
