Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pen, Fine Point, Dark Blue

The Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pen is at the high-end of the low cost pen market both in terms of quality and performance. This is not one of those pens that you want to loose, but it is inexpensive enough that doing so wouldn't ruin your week. I love everything about this pen and I find that I reach for it more often than any of my other pens. It has a rubberized grip which is very comfortable. The grip is neither too thick nor too slender. I bought a fine point because I tend to write lots of notes on college-ruled paper and I like the control that this pen gives me. There is no skipping or blotting of ink. Another great thing, this pen starts up right away. There is no need to draw a bunch of circles to get the ink flowing. Like a good pie crust which has two opposing characteristics (tender and flaky), this pen point balances sharpness and smoothness. You'll feel a bit of scratchiness when you write and yet, the pen moves smoothly and does not accumulate even the smallest bit of paper. There really isn't a better low cost pen than this one and really it will come down to a preference for ballpoint, rollerball or gel pen. At any rate, I'm giving the Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pen a place in my top five.

These are my all-time favorite pens, and I have used a lot of pens! I love the grip, the fine tip, the bold colors, the smooth writing, and most of all, as a lefty, there is NO smudging or smearing!!! Every "lefty" pen I've ever used that promised no smearing was either not a bold colored-ink and/or it didn't write smoothly. I took three pages of notes with the purple pen in this pack and when I was done, not only were the words not smudged, but the side of my hand wasn't purple! I could not believe it! I have been telling everyone I know to get these pens.

These are seriously awesome fine point gel pens. The pens write so smoothly that it feels like they are gliding on the paper. In addition, the pen's ink drys instantly on contact leaving no smudges, and they don't bleed through the paper. Lastly, the ink's color is super vivid and bright as well. I highly recommend these pens for work, school, and home. I will be buying these inkjoy fine point gel pens again.

These shipped and arrived very quickly. The quality of this pen is amazing! It writes so smooth with no break in ink and no splotches either. It's a nice dark bold black and it dries super fast. I use it on stickers and paper and I've never had any smearing at all! Best gel pen I've ever used!

Love these pens, use for financial work exclusively!! Have ordered this set twice and am having to return AGAIN - medium received, FINE ORDERED ! Not the price is up almost $6, will have to search elsewhere!! But still love the pens themselves!!!

It's really hard to find these in fine point. Happy that I did. Happy with the colors. These are a nice balance between the fineness of the line and the flow of the ink. Not scratchy at all. The ink takes longer to dry to smudge-proof than the commercials would have you think, and it will definitely smear if you use a highlighter over it. But on the whole, the dry-time is pretty good (faster than the Pilot V5, my favorite daily use gel pen, much faster than the medium point of this same pen).

Believe the hype. I definitely thought it was weird how many people were taking the time to review a pack of pens, but they stand out. I got on here originally to buy a pack of G2s, but I read some reviews and it looked like a lot of people preferred these. Consider me another convert. The ink doesn't smudge at all! I'm not sure I could make it if I tried. They also write very smoothly, and have a pretty comfortable weight and diameter.Go down a size from your normal preference on .5, .7 boldness. I ordered .5 and would still like it to look a little finer. But would recommend above any of the other gel pens I've tried.

These pens write beautifully and dry quickly. The fine tip allows me to fit more information on my report sheet at work in the hospital. I love the colors, too!
